The GPS function is great along with the red light detection, a little to much K band false alerts but when it's real you get ample warning I really like this detector and it's already paid for it self.

Escort - Passport 9500ix Radar Detector is easy to use and works great. Used on recent trip to Key West and it was very accurate.

I drive interstates from near Phila. to Montreal five times a year round trip. As i'm sure anyone who drives the Pa turnpike, anywhere in NJ or NY cops are everywhere and repeated!!! More than ample warning to any danger... and the ability to lock out standard garbage forever makes this the only ACCURATE detector to own!!!!!!!

Very Accurate and precise scanner..... I found it easy to use and a superb quality, it is a product that I will strongly recommend to friends... It is not the cheapest option in the market but I felt that it's components and design offer a higher quality product and therefore worth the investment

I've had other escort models but this is by far the best yet,being able to lock out stoplight radar and door openers is fantastic

False alerts are very predictable (pharmacies, banks, etc) great range and very accurate. Wish I had it 6 mos ago

So far so good. Easy setup and quick to use. Love the Bluetooth capability works well when using a smartphone. Drove to Louisville and back this weekend and was alerted well before I came upon a wreck. Definitely great for safety.

Love it. Easy to use out of the box. Replaced a Cobra with this one. It has much longer range and easily cancelled false alarms.

Works great. Lots of advanced warning. It also tells you what band of radar/laser you are dealing with. The dark feature is nice at nightime. Gives you warning without lights glaring at you from dashboard.

I actually purchased this for the second time. First one I bought was a few years ago (the previous model) until I gave it away to a friend of mine. Had to get the latest model and it's the best one I've used to date. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Will save you a lot of money down the road avoiding tickets. I actually drive safer when an alert goes off, and saves me a lot of money.

The escort comes with a smart cord that is suppose to hook up to the bluetooth on my phone. My phone says it can't find the detector. I paid five dollars/month for a service I didn't even notice what I paid for. Been meaning to call escort for help, yet haven't had the time.

This is my 5th Escort radar detector in the last 15+ years and may be the best yet! I purchased this due to an X50 8500 that was outdated and no longer reliable. The 9500ix has the technology and quality to make it as dependable as can be with GPS and the defender database. My car is eerily quiet now as this detector sniffs out and eliminates false signals alerting you only to valid threats. Easy to use and fully customizable to suit your needs. 5 stars!

Have about an hour commute to and from work everyday through some heavily patrolled areas. At first I was skeptical and wondering if I should have shelled out the extra cash for the Max 360 but after watching this one work for a few weeks I am convinced this was a great investment given the fact I price matched with BB.com for $320. Great range, filters out garbage and marks them in its memory. Has paid for itself 3-4 times over in just a month or so,

shut off x band. false alerts k band new autos with anticollision which apparently uses k band. 360 out of my budget, would go that route if cost is a non issue.

Had to buy another one when my 8500 got cooked in the south Texas sun. Didn't realize how much I depended on the 8500 . bought this one in San Antonio. spent half a day trying to locate an 8500, had to buy the 9500. I have a lead foot at times. Glad I spent a little more for the 9500. Money well spent
