Works very well. Once you buy the upgrade power cord, you can connect to your smart phone and use a map with lists locations of police patrols on your route. This would be perfect if more people had them and connected. Love it.

This was a great investment. After getting a speeding tickets in one of San Antonio's famous speed traps I bought this radar detector. Saves me every time! Great investment!

Very good detector that with the right cord you can run on a live program at all times via iPhone. It's sophisticated and very simple to use, it has two options for the two and it's very detailed in the app.

This escort Max is one of the best laser detectors. It detects signal as far as 1.5miles!

Other than the initial GPS failure which required an exchange (Best Buy took good care of me) this device has been excellent. The early warnings have been great, particularly on a recent long road trip. The unit is pricey, but seem to be well worth it!

Purchased this because of what I drive. First detector was defective. GPS did not work. Would not pick up red light cameras or speed cameras. KA band picked up police far away. Slowed down and kept waiting to find the officer. Picked him up I would guess over a mile away. Exchanged the defective one for another one. Hopefully this one works better!
