so mine just went apart today... I bought it on June 11. installed it on June 21st... and I can even count how many days it was on windshield actually doing its job and how many days it was just sitting in a case. (so it didn't even survived 15 days of usage) and today os July 17 and its my birthday and its went apart while I was driving.... so Yeah happy birthday to me... bought it at best buy in Portland so will go there tomorrow and se what are they thinking about replacing it. Looks like they all have this issue ... its all over the internet... I preferred Escort but if I would you I would wait a bit to see maybe Escort will do some kind of recall about this big issue . mine actually hovel four (4) back screw mounting posts broken. allowing the upper / lower case to separate

Radar works perfect! With exscort live app makes finding radars, red light cameras & advance warnings with the cloud makes traveling easier.

It takes some getting used to having a radar detector again, but so far this one seems to work really well. I might have gone with a less expensive model, but overall I am happy with the product.

Great at finding police radar, ok at filtering non-police radar. Still get many false alarms. Phone app is too distracting for me to use while driving. Used the app for a couple of days, but found little value as a driver based on the amount of time needed to mark false alarm areas. Would be ok if a passenger could update the app while the driver drives. I wouldn't recommend if you are buying strictly for app compatibility, but would recommend for those who want great detection range for true police radar.

yes its a bit pricy, but it saved me plenty of times. it picks up very far, and its a easy setup

False signal lockout works great. Range on static radar was 3.2 miles advanced warning before locked out. The live app coold use some work but not a mark down.

Max2 provides Blue Tooth tech to allow you and other drivers to communicate hot spots live. A drivers best friend!

Kept me from numerous tickets and just had it for over 1 month.

worked as described, alerted me to speeds traps, cameras and air patrols. Live feed kept us updated on police sightings. Time feature let us determine if they might still be in the area.

took it out of the box and set up with a minimal amount of work. works fantastic and is easy to use

This radar detector may be less expensive than it's counterparts but it does the job. My hubby has an Escort Passport 9500ix for his motorcycle and he is considering switching with me and taking the Max2 and giving me the 9500ix, which is the more expensive radar detector. Would definitely recommend this radar detector to anyone looking for a reasonably priced detector.

This escort is great. I have had other escort detectors in the past but this one has been the best. Like the Bluetooth feature and the interaction with the app.

Overall happy with the max 2. It is a little annoying sometimes because it does have a lot of false alarms, but it has alerted me to 95% of the police I have come across. Saved me at least 2 tickets so far. Also, the speed limit indication when connected to your phone is almost always wrong. Not a dealbreaker but definitely not something I trust for a true indication of the speed limit

Excellent device for recent road trip. Did not pickup those annoying false radar places. Easy to use interface.

Well worth the Money! Paid for itself the first Day. Very Easy to set up. I Pulled it out of the Box... Plugged it in, and was Ready to go.

Very reliable radar detector. Bought this about a month ago. This has saved me several times from radars hidden in blind spots already.

This is the third radar detector that I've owned, the big difference with this is the interaction with the escort live app. When the radar detector is on, and the app installed, you will be aware of everything around you. On a long trip up the I-95, I knew where potential traffic problems were. The escort live app allows you to press a button as soon as you see a situation, this gets transmitted to other drivers escort live app's and beamed using bluetooth to the Passport Max 2. The Passport Max 2 is expensive and so this doesn't come cheap - but then you get what you pay for! I just love it!!!

Very sensitive detector. Good storage feature. Camera detector works well.

While the escort max 360 is 'better', this one can be found for almost $200 less and is essentially the same. Fantastic choice.
