I bought this about 3 weeks ago and had it in my new mustang which I only drive on sunny days. Today I was driving and hit a bump and the detector case actually split where the mount clips in. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it so no worries there but I'm skeptical on this one lasting any longer... As far as detecting the law - it has worked great and has alerted me long before I see smokey rolling over the horizon. That is the only reason I'm giving this product another go. It works! They need to reinforce the chassis or something though... 3 stars for durability - 5 stars for detection.

A lot of annoying false alarms. The mount is still an issue after so many years - wobbles a lot! Bought through best buy website and couldn’t get the price adjustment at the store when the price went down. So annoying!

I really enjoyed trying this radar out being that it's similar to WAZE but unfortunately if ever you need to update the firmware on it, it's not compatible to apple. Maybe when ever they come out with one that is, I'll look into it again.

I've had older detectors and wanted a newer one. This detector has GPS, excellent range, and is also good at filtering out false alarms.

no false alarms. spanish and english. this unit will tag other radar detectors in front of you and tell you where the alarm went oft. Eyes ahead

The best detector that I have ever used. Extremely sensitive and sounds alerts at extreme ranges

Display is easy to see, controls are easy to understand . great warning range.

Easy to set up/use. Very effective with great range, even around bends in the road/corners. Speed monitor option keeps me aware of my speed with "over speed alert". Overall great for folks that do a lot of driving.

I’ve had multiple escort radar detectors and having the auto learn gps is a great feature. Also the radar detection works great

This is my second Escort Radar Detector and it works at least as well as the first one. The display is nicer and looks cool. They are all build like a tank. The speed limit info is not always available.

I love my radar and do not regret buying it at all. Very helpful with avoiding tickets and has saved me a few times now; however, it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

My Escort has saved me too many times to count. All the options are good & settings are not hard to figure out. It's worth the money.

I' have owned previous escort radar detectors in the past, i.e. 9500ix and the 9500 this one is far superior.

The Escort Passport Max2 has a decent range and can adapt to your regular driving to get rid of fake alerts.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this radar detector. It had some negative reviews but I have not experienced any issues in the couple of weeks that I have been using it. This was an upgrade from a 20 year old Escort Passport so it has a lot more functionality. I also like the phone app that links to the detector. For the price, I think this radar detector is great. I'm not sure what I would get if I paid another $200-$300 for the higher end models.

Escort PASSPORT Max2 Radar and Laser Detector works as described. No false alarms in our area. Great to connect via bluetooth.

The one feature I wanted was a way to see what direction radar (or laser) was coming from. They just released that version... Otherwise, an excellent detector. The phone interface is great but a bit cumbersome to use while driving though.
