As a little old lady from Pasadena I highly recommend this detector

The Escort PASSPORT Max2 radar and laser detector is a sure thing for traveling! It does give out a few signals when they're bounced off a semi in your traveling direction. The signals are usually from the other side of the highway in the opposite direction or off an electronic interstate sign.

Great radar detector. Few false alarms. Good range.

I bought this right before I made a road trip. It saved me at least 6 times. It's not a get out of jail free card, so don't go crazy. Just watch your speed. It may seem expensive but well worth it. Feature wise. This is great. The only difference between this and the 360 is showing which direction the signal is coming from. Well you can figure it out if you watch the meter.

the best radar detector i have had in 20 years.. saved from 5 tickets in last 2 months. it remembers where you tagged previous radar hideouts and warns you to look out when you pass there again. the bad part is they dont give you a free year of online radar network. you have to buy it... that sucked...

This radar detector works great. It has paid for itself several times over and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this to replace a Passport 8500 detector. The 8500 was always falling on "K" band with the new cars using that band on all of their sensors. The MAX 2 has nearly eliminated that problem completely. Range is exceptional and the new suction cup windshield attachment is a great improvement as well.

The radar works great - no complaints about that, but the housing is terrible. I had only 45 days before the case cracked (the top separated from the bottom), so already have it duct taped to keep it together. Nothing quite like having a $500 radar detector held together with duct tape. It won't be long before the tape melts and ruins the electronics.

This passport has and continues to pay for its self..I am a much more aware driver. And saves you time and money.

Works better than I expected. The distance that it picks up the radar is exceptional. I highly recommend it.

Nice radar detector with Bluetooth capability. Choice of settings and marked locations.

I turned it on everyday ... it gives me a heads up to slow down ... it’s my second pair of eyes ... it seems it’s expensive .. but if you get a ticket ..it pairs off...it’s veru sensitive ..I love it ... I bought for me and my husband ..

This has given me piece of mind when traveling. I don't necessarily drive fast but its always good to know if anyone is shooting a radar at me. I'd buy the next product up but at this steep price I can't be upgrade to frequently.
