i WAS LOOKING FOR A RADAR DETECTOR DUE TO MY OLD ONE DIED. I FOUND THIS ONE AND AN SATISFIED WITH THE PURCHASE i MADE AT THE PRICE I BOUGHT IT AT. THE SALESMAN THAT I WORKED WITH WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL.

This radar detector is great. Very few false alarms, usually by automatic doors at shopping centers. No false alarms on the highway. Great range!

I purchased this to help keep me alert while driving. It's amazing how far ahead it can detect radar. I like the automatic mute option so it doesn't just keep making an annoying beep once it detects radar.

Great radar detector for anyone that travels a lot or just has a lead foot like I do. Great range and minimal false alarms with the "auto noX" feature."

Good radar for the average joe. Now that I know what I know now I would of bought the X80.

Bought this to replace a cheaper radar detector that lasted only 2 yrs. This is more compact which I like.

This thing works great, it is sensitive at times but over a 1000 mile trip it saved me 3 times. Def worth the money

Unfortunately, thus radar detector was going off at stores at other locations with alarm systems. It is a nice product and good price. But, I needed something more accurate. So, I returned it a purchased another Escort radar detector. Will let you know how that goes when I receive it later today.

It's not that I'm a speed demon or anything, but occasionally I will get to going faster than the speed limit, so I bought a Cobra the first time, and waisted a $150. So this time around, I researched different Radar detectors, this one had good and bad reviews. All I can say is this is the Best one I've ever had. I do a lot of highway driving, this radar detector has already saved me 6 times, it's well worth the investment.

Easy to install, great features, and pleasantly its been my experience, it is very accurate.

I love my passport, it works great, loud enough to hear. It has great range, and has kept me aware of different traffic stops. Many times when the alarm sounds that there is radar detection around me and has notified me to slow down. I don't purposely speed But my car has some get up and go and sometimes I don't even realize I'm speeding. My passport keep me in line and has saved my butt more than once.

This is a great detector. Seems to work very well, also has a diminutive design that is aesthetically pleasing. That said, If I could have gotten a working demo or if Best Buy actually had product in a display case where it could seen it before purchase, I would not have purchased this particular model. The OLED screen is not of a resolution that you would expect from a modern device with an OLED screen. The kicker was the verbiage that the detector was EscortLive compatible... only if you purchase a special power adaptor that has an inclusive BlueTooth chip (approximately $100 and not available at Best Buy). This was not very clear on the packaging. Other models have the bluetooth chip within, so I ended up returning this model for a MAX360. I would recommend this detector to anyone who does not plan to utilize Escort Live. I do miss it's aesthetics. The 360 is much larger, in comparison.

So, I have used this for several months of extended drives, and I have to say, I am certain that it has protected me from getting trapped while speeding marginally (82 in 70 zone). But... I worry that there is some new "radar" out there that it is not sensing. I know of two specific times that I have had no alerts, and last minute noted an officer in the median with a "gun" aimed in my direction, and on both occasions, they pulled out and pulled someone over who was driving nearby. I had no alarms at all. Even if they were using laser, I would have thought there would be something picked up from scatter. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. My only true negative is that it has stored locations for "speed traps" that I did not enter (from a database I assume) and I cannot figure out how to delete, since those "traps" have not been manned every time I've driven by...

I would definitely recommend this radar detector. The only thing was i thought it could connect to the phone through bluetooth but u need to buy a seperate charger and i was not aware of that. Other than that it works great very satisfied

I recently drove over 2000 miles, with NO Tickets! Can't ask for more than that. Once you learn what the radar / laser bands are you know what to look for. No detector can pick up the instant radar fast enough to slow down. That's when the trooper turns the radar on and is aimed at you, unless there are other cars around you, they gotcha. Best for the money.

Replaced an older Escort. This model does not have access to the online Escort network without purchasing a $99 cable, but works fine as a detector.
