    Escort detectors are among the best on the market...the X70 is an upgraded new version of the X50, which was one of the best detectors ever made. New screen, better sensitivity and more programming choices...BEST for the money, buy it!

    My husband has an older model of the 9500. He believes that this unit does just as good a job at detecting. He likes the lighter weight of the unit as well. He does not use the subscription features.

    This unit is a great product at an economic deal. I bought it and then upgraded to x80 cause x80 since new promo came up and I took advantage since it has Bluetooth built in pair with the phone

    The unit may not be the best you can buy, however for the money it does work well. Be advised, if you want to connect to a tablet, you need to purchase the Escort live DC cord with built in Bluetooth.

    Bought this for a west coast to east coast road trip. I would have had to spend $200 more to get significantly better coverage. Did not have many issues with false positives.

    Much more polished product than the earlier Escort and Beltronics models. Less jarring sounds. I turned off X band. Will update as time spent with product increases.
