Good but not great!

First the display brightness is for a better word terrible! I hard to believe that a detector that cost over $800 with tax cannot be bright enough in a car with tinted windows on a sunny day. The first time in over 40 years of owning them that it has been an issue. Second, BSM filtering is not the best as false alerts are still frequent. Conduct some research and reviews and you will find it his is true. Thirdly, when did having to use another device to take advantage of all functions and perform to the be the best (escort live). Not sure about you but having my cell phone get drained for short runs and continuously having it short charged on quick runs doesn’t seem the best for 1k phone batteries. Better options out there for less but maybe that’s just me. $150-200 less and it would be a decent deal.

The suction cup kept falling and had to buy a new one 2 weeks after purchased. I sent a request to escort radars and no one ever reached back to me. The new suction cup was $29 plus taxes and shipping.

I went back to my Max 3 where the false alarms are limited. If you would take my advice you will save a few hundred dollars, and you will not be disappointed.

Worth the purchase

When paired with the escort live you can teach it where all the unwanted alerts are on your daily route. But no radar detector will help with the instant on radar guns.
