||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No newbie to these items. I own an Escort Max 360c, V1 Gen 1, V1 Gen 2, and an Escort Max 2. The V1 Gen 1 since 2004. For a short time also had Escort's 8500, 9500, Solo, as well. As far as the Redline, for $750, I'm really disappointed. Had to return it. The lockout feature for the false alarms didn't work and the detector didn't detect any speed cameras or redlight cameras (was the reason I purchased it), my V1's don't detect cameras and my Max 2 is 6 years old and doesn't have the latest camera database. The Ka range was better than the V1 Gen 2 and Max 360c.

Unfortunately even if thats true it took Escort over 2 years from release date to fix it’s top of the line most expensive RD and to actually make it work.

Posted .This is highly unusual. Note that the EX Mag Mount is not like a typical mount. To engage the mount to the detector you will need to raise the front of the detector up as you engage the mount. The magnet will then hold the detector to the mount properly. Reference the included quick start guide for a visual guide. To remove simply lift the front of the detector up.

Posted .It is unusual to hear of Redline 360c false alerting so often. Enable K Notch to reduce K band false alerts from nearby vehicles with collision avoidance systems. Fixed location X and K band false alerts will be automatically learned, stored and ignored after about 3 passes by them. If you are receiving many Ka band radar alerts then there could be an issue with your Redline 360c. For further assistance, contact us at 800-543-1608 M-F 9:00AM-5PM EST. Posted .It can alert to redlight cameras that are located very close to a highway. It should detect police radar exceptionally. Note that police do not always transmit radar. For maximum detection performance, mount the detector level and low on your windshield. If you are certain it is not alerting when it should, there may be an issue with the detector. The driver smarter app is the best part in my opinion. You can edit every single option in a second at ease. I’m not used to this since my last radar was from 20 years ago being the 8500 x50 (red). The magnetic ez mount is by far the best mount I’ve used and I’m never worried about this falling off my windshield.

Best Ever Radar Detector *Invisible to All*

I purchased this paired with the Escort M1 Camera that connects to this unit. I’ve been speeding 20+mph all around VA, MD, DC, PA, NC, SC, GA and FL and not once I have not been alerted well before I even see the cop or trap. Well worth it.

This RD is a good looking $800 detector that gets OUTPERFORMED by everyone else on the high end level of detectors. Uniden R7, R8, V1G2 outperform this. This detector is SLOWER by 2-4 times when compared to Uniden R8. Instant ON radar on K and KA band on this detector takes 1-2 seconds. Where is R8 reacts in 0.3-0.4 seconds. Also, ramp up on this unit is ABSURD.. Basically it will start with MAX volume right away so it will make you think the source of the signal is close.. but it can be a mile away. Uniden R8 and V1G2 ramp up correctly and signal will get stronger as you get closer to the source. Or if they go off at max volume that means the source is very close. Also, Escort STOPPED supporting this radar a year ago. This is their flagship detector and they provide no updates are NOT fixing ramp up and I/O reactivity. Now think who are you giving your money to. A company that does NOT support their flagship product and obviously does not care about you as a customer. I suggest everyone to stop buying escort so maybe they will start actually making a product that will match their marketing claims... Go buy Uniden R8 or V1G2. This RL360c only has 2 advantages over Uniden R8. 1) stealth 2) Build quality. (RL is magnesium whereas R8 is plastic). However, #2 is subjective because you are buying a RD for performance, not for looks. V1G2 is also stealth but does not have GPS.. (easily fixed with pairing it up with a phone over bluetooth)
