It detected a few k bands but passed several sheriff and did not do a thing. It detected some within miles but then it will stop which is weird then did nothing while getting near the source. I have a feeling this thing will get me a ticket.

The newer cars with updated tech in it set off the ka band. Only solution that Escort gave us was to disable the ka band… which is the most important part of a radar detector. Just a warning to people that want to spend $800 on this. Ended up getting returned.

If this does not resolve the issue, we do not recommend turning off the entire radar band, but just disabling the specific frequency. The Redline 360c features band segmentation, which helps improve detector performance by narrowing the range of frequencies that are scanned. This can lead to quicker responses to police radar and can also help eliminate specific persistent false alerts by blocking out unwanted frequency ranges. Hopefully that’s fixed in a future update.
