It would remember locations that i drove by often that were false readings like automatic doors or speed signs. It also showed your current speed which was a nice feature. This new model you have to subscribe to the Escort app and even then you have to have your phone on, and what I mean by on is the screen must be on. If your screen times out and goes to sleep you are no longer connected. What a waste for such a high priced item.

Best Buy Customer service was awesome. Replaced no problems then the volume on the second one stopped working less than a month of use. So now I’m on my third one and I purchased extended warranty, which I never do.
