I love espresso, but my husband loves drip coffee. I didn't want two appliances sitting on the counter as we don't really have a lot of spare room in the kitchen, so this was the perfect product for us. I looked at a lot of different espresso machines before purchasing this one. I did notice that there were a lot of negative reviews for this product on multiple sites, but I took my chances since Best Buy has a pretty good return policy. I absolutely love this, and it has already helped me save a lot of money on coffee runs. If you purchase this, be sure to read and follow the instructions in the manual. If you don't do this, you're going to have a bad time. Some of the negative reviews stated that it took a while for the machine to heat up to make espresso. I haven't experienced this. It takes me about two minutes from start to finish to make an iced latte. If you prefer hot lattes then I could see why it would take longer. I have made hot lattes for my husband, and it does take a few minutes for the machine to heat up after you froth the milk. I would suggest frothing the milk before you make your espresso. Bonus: this coffee maker is very sleek and modern looking. It's also super easy to clean. Tip: Make sure that the water compartment is completely pushed back into place. If you notice leaking and if it is taking a long time for it to heat up, chances are that the water compartment isn't in place. I made this mistake during my first use.

Tried this at friends house. Absolutely fantastic machine with espresso side producing rich, hot, coffee with an incredible crema. Since it's a thermoblock instant steam for frothing milk. Unit is extremely useful for those in the house/guests that do not drink espresso but prefer a well produced filter coffee. Sturdy unit with beautiful finishing on stainless steel body. Toggle switches easy to use. Outstanding product and highly recommend this.
