A little bit of a pain to set up but once it's set up works as described. Using for Xmas lights right now. No more trying to match timing on separate timers. The grouping function is very useful. Only complaint is that the time doesn't adjust for daylight savings. No big deal just adjusted the turn on and off schedule accordingly.

Used this for outside Christmas lights this year. Worked great. It was convenient not having to get up every night to turn the lights on and off. Got them on sale which was a plus.

These are Excellent devices, the App works well on my iPhone, I have used these outside and inside, they do need to have good Wi-Fi signal

Superb Customer Support! Decided to configure these for my home network on a Saturday evening. The process requires you to download an app on your phone, specify your wifi network and then enter your wifi network password. As easy as 1, 2, 3....right? Well, not for me. Struggled for about 30 minutes with configuration error messages before sending an email to Etekcity/VeSync support. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a response within 2 hours....on a Saturday night! Per the Support Tech, as it turns out, I had entered my wifi password incorrectly. After entering my wifi password correctly the device was configured and ready to rock my Christmas decorations within seconds. Note: I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 due to the device not being able to inform me that my wifi password was incorrect. If the Support Tech was informed of this by the device my expectation would be that the device could have informed me just the same. (side note: I'm still getting comfortable with the fact that devices like this certainly can....and likely are...passing along information such as passwords to their support staff.)

The Etekcity - Smart outdoor wifi plugs were perfect for this year's Christmas lights. I was able to have Alexa control when all my outdoor lights would turn on and off.

Love this item! Easy to use. Download and app and have your Halloween or Christmas Lights or Christmas Tree at your disposal. Sometimes you just want to stay in bed.

So glad I bought this for our Christmas lights but even happier now because I have them set up for the lights on my arbor now and the app is super easy to navigate.

Very easy to program with the app. You can set up individual schedules for each plug or turn the plugs on or off from anywhere with your cellphone. Very good price!
