Got tired of paying for the Ring cloud subscription. While the camera is stellar in clarity - especially its night vision - it doesn’t always record humans. Seems to love tracking passing cars though. Also the security lights will not illuminate 100% of the time when someone is in the driveway at night. This seems to coorelate when it doesn’t sense someone walking onto the driveway which happens mildly frequently. And while it’s nice to not have to pay for a cloud subscription to store alerts, the SD card means of saving alerts is just an ok alternative. Last thing where the Ring is superior is playback of stored videos. The Eufy playback is a bit clunky. I probably would not purchase this again.

Only complaint is mounting the two screws onn each side. Holes have to align perfectly. Screws are very small and hard to find if dropped.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera directly from Eufy and despite some minor struggles with the install and mount, I liked the camera and it's functionality very much. However, I am unable to recommend this camera due to the fact that it failed within a year (or I guess outside the warranty period according to Eufy) and now it no longer functions. I have tried their troubleshooting tips but nothing has worked. I'm now stuck with a dead camera and Eufy won't do anything about it. Think carefully before you purchase this.
