Nice but solar panel defective

Only thing is one camera does not charge by the solar panel. I have to take it down and charge it by wire. And the motion sometimes doesn't turn on. For the hefty price i would recommend a wired system.

Great Security Cameras

The down side is setting up the time schedule. When asked for help they I needed to cal Eufy. This system controls the door bell but doesn't the flood cam.

The Eufy ecosystem is the absolute best system. They are made of high quality materials, they look good, they perform well, and have better quality video than any other system I have had. In addition to the video quality, they are able to alert at longer distances with more accurate human/vehicle/other recognition.

The picture quality is superb. You can also hear what is being picked up by the cameras and even talk from the cameras (akin to a ring camera). Overall, the system is a way better deal than contracting a comp to install a camera surveillance system.

Total waste of money

The base is connected via cable to my router. The router is netgear R8000P that is connected to a fiber modem with 1gig up and down. Should be plenty for streaming and it is for every other streaming thing I do. I have been a software engineer for the last 17 years. I know everything is fine. It is PAINFUL to wait for this base to give me the live feed upon a notification. Oh someone is at your door Ok let me see Decrypting ... decrypting... decrypting AAAANNNNNDDD they are gone What is the point of the security system if the very thing it is supposed to secure is being left behind. SHOW ME WHAT IS GOING ON ALREADY!!! I know what is going on. As it is recording the person in front of my front door, it is unable to stream it to me at the same time. so I can only see the event AFTER THE FACT! WHAT??? Total waste of money

Easy Setup

If you get this though, I would recommend ordering a SSD along with it as it doesn’t have a big internal storage, but can be equipped with a SSD to hold your recordings.

I've had Eufy cameras, even have the bulky s40, which works great but the way. I upgraded to three new Cam 3s and they work great. Just 2 hours a day with sun light is actually on point. I've had them for 2 weeks now and me cameras batteries still show 100%. 135° viewing angle is also a great addition to these cameras. Cover much wider view and, man, that 4k res is, 8x zoom is awesome. Definitely recommend these cameras and it'll only get better with OTAs. Great job Eufy.
