Stand alone solar powered cameras with 4K resolution are very good for beginner or basic cameras. The home base requires Ethernet and that could present a problem for your camera locations and proximity coverage.

These are great! Highly recommend using the solar attachments as the batteries can drain quick. Besides that everything is great!

The Eufy Cam S3 Pro is so easy to set up! Simply download the app, plug the base into power and your router, and add the cameras. Temporarily move the cameras to their intended locations to verify Wifi connectivity and once confirmed, return them to the base, let them charge overnight, and they're ready to go. Simple pivot mounting brackets make it easy to adjust to virtually any angle (Hint - use your own screws to mount the brackets as the ones provided tend to strip). The built-in solar panels require only one hour of daily sunlight to remain fully charged year round. There's also an external solar panel that can be added if necessary. Although I didn't need it, it's nice that they supplied one just in case. The microphone detects sound and allows for clear communication between camera and the app. The speaker and 100db siren allow for effective communication and deter unwanted visitors. You can also access a spotlight from within the app to light up the area for a better view of what's going on! The units are rated IP67 weatherproof and can withstand extreme weather from 14 to 113 degrees. The detection system combines radar and passive infrared to identify people and reduce false alarms. A simple photo in the app allows the facial recognition technology to remember family members and it really works! The app also allows you to customize security zones to receive alerts for only certain areas and/or eliminate neighbors' privacy concerns. The 4k UHD video provides unbelievable clarity. Even at night, the camera offers "day-like" crystal clear images without a spotlight. The app also features 3 night vision modes - Max color for full color in low-light, Adaptive spotlight for brighter images, and Infrared for crisp black and white images. The cameras provide vivid colors and sharp images - even identifying faces and license plates up to 30 feet away. The home base provides up to 16GB of storage which is expandable to 16TB - all without monthly fees. The whole system is also compatible with Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Assistant. What a great system!!!!
