Great video quality, the spotlight is handy but not particularly strong. Night vision using IR is out of this world great though, picking things up clearly 75 feet away from my home.
The only major drawback is the AC adapter for these are large. You'll want either Apple cubes (which comfortably run these) or outlets with USB connections in them which will need to be in weatherproof covered boxes). Otherwise, these are great.
For those that know of other Eufy security products and decided against them because of a single point of failure, this camera does not require a HomeBase device. It connects directly to your WiFi.
For the tech-savvy - these can record to an internal SD card, the cloud, or to an RTSP-supporting NVR/DVR system, so you have options on how these work.

I bought the Eufy cameras to replace the Arlo Pro 4's, which were meant to replace my Amazon Cloud cams when Amazon discontinue the service. I needed a secondary camera system to my CCTV I have for my business, and I wanted plug and plays that can record 24/7 continuously. I don't want to get into why I disliked the Arlos (ARRRGGGGHHH...), but I didn't really look into the Eufy because the cameras were "cheap(er)". More money doesn't mean better. There aren't many continuous recording options out there, and Eufy makes it extremely easy to do, with their app, and in-camera storage capability. Some will say "well, all they have to do is take the camera, and you the evidence", and that's true, IF they can get up that high. I need these cameras for during business hours, when everyone is present, so I don't really worry about theft of the cameras too much.
Also, I don't just use the memory card, I also subscribe to their cloud recording. Like I mentioned above, these are secondary to my current CCTV system that I have already. I like the Eufy for the easy app accessibility, and the easy two-way communication with minimal lag time (vs the 7 seconds on the Arlo system). The videos are extremely clear, and the sound, it really picks up sound from afar. Much further than my Amazon cloud cams. Their smartphone ios app is easy and very simple. You're either recording, or you're not. You can record continuously or not. Easy as that (vs...Arlo). I would expect most of these features to be standard in most of the highER dollar platforms. I really do not understand what makes others more expensive. I have the Nest 4k cameras as as secondary system at my home, and since they were bought out by Google, the newer releases have been crappy. So I'm also waiting to see what will happen once Google discontinues support for the original Nest system. I will probably incorporate most of those cameras over to my Ubiquiti universe, and have the Eufys as backups.

Awesome camera, great video quality, high capacity local storage. All around, a great upgrade to my last camera
Full disclosure, I had a Wyze Cam v3 before this camera. However, Wyze never gave me the warm and fuzzy feeling with their cloud storage model. There was no real way that I could find to disable the cloud storage without disabling the remote viewing. Wyze had excellent night vision, but with a max 32GB recording capability, and really awful customer support, I had to switch.
The Eufy cam supports up to a 128GB card, and the night vision is still really well done. I know there was a recent issue with there remote access, but despite that, I STILL feel that Eufy is far more secure than Wyze

This camera is absolutely incredible! I wish I had tried Eufy before investing heavily into another large brand. The picture quality is amazing. Crisp, clear. You can actually make out detail! It even has a small spotlight, while it doesn’t light up a large area, when it turns on, the camera switches to full color! Even at night the picture quality is incredible! When it comes to motion detection, Eufy is IMO the best for accurate detections. Compared to Ring which constantly notifies me of motion or people detection, and it’s always a squirrel or a rabbit, This camera gets it right 99% of the time. I bought 4 of these over the past several months, and I can count on 1 hand how many incorrect detections they had. And in the rare event it does have mistaken detections, you are able to mark it as false, and it will keep track of it and not alert you to similar things again. The camera comes with a Micro SD card, and best of all, no monthly fees! It is completely free. They give you the option to purchase cloud storage; however, you don’t need it. All the footage is stored right in the camera and easily assessable.
AMAZING camera for the price! Don’t hesitate if you are looking to pick up a camera or several. You can’t go wrong here.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're really sorry you've encountered this issue!
In this case, could you please enable HotSpot on your phone and make the camera connect to your hotspot to see if it works? Steps:side menu>my devices>wifi connection>change wifi
If your camera can connect with the Hotspot, the issue should be related to your wifi. To locate the issue, may I know whether other devices connected to the wifi can work normally? If yes, please try the following steps to see if the issue will be resolved quickly.
-Make sure your wifi is 2.4 Hz wifi -Confirm if your wifi is encrypted by WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK -Stand nearby the camera and see if your phone is able to connect to the wifi properly -If possible, move the router closer to the camera and let us know the distance between the camera and router -Some houses have two network devices. For example, one is the ISP-provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your smartphone and camera are connected to the same wireless router, and the Wi-Fi is not isolated from the LAN. -Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network. The LAN port is not dedicated for a set>top->box. -Turn off the firewall to see whether the camera can connect to WiFi. If so, please check your firewall setting to see if there are any special restrictions for the device. You can check the firewall setting on your router's official website. Please make sure these ports are allowed: TCP:80, 443 UDP:0-65535
If those don't help, please reach out to us via [email protected] or call us at +1 (800) 988 7973. We are more than happy to assist you further.

Wired camera is easy to install. Motion sensor activity zones are not very smart. Motion anywhere near the edge of the zone will trigger a recording. At night headlights on the zone will trigger a recording. Video quality is acceptable in daylight and not bad at night. Camera has its own storage card so mount it where it’s not easily accessible. Reasonable camera for the price.

I've had a great experience with the Eufy Security Outdoor Cam Pro! The camera performs exactly as described, and I am very happy with its functionality. It captures clear and detailed footage, providing a sense of security and peace of mind.
I am very pleased with the performance of the camera, which has met and even exceeded my expectations. Even in challenging lighting conditions, it delivers high-quality video, ensuring every detail is captured. I am extremely satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking reliable surveillance. The product's performance and reliability make it a standout choice. Not only does it fulfill its primary purpose of providing security, but it also offers user-friendly features and easy installation.
In terms of improvement, I can't think of any significant drawbacks or areas that need enhancement. The company has truly delivered a top-notch product that excels in all aspects. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, and I appreciate their commitment to delivering a high-quality security camera.
If you’re in need of an outdoor Security Camera, look no further! And it’s cheap! Ha!

Great camera! Very clear. Night vision is really good. The light is activated with motion which was bright. Set up was simple. Mounting is adhesive to the wall and then magnet to the camera. So makes it easy to move. Power cord is about 10ft long, more than I needed. Currently set up in my garage and hope to get more soon. App is easy to use, could be a little better to maneuver.

Pros: Clear picture, easy to install, night light, shows up well at night.
Cons: Too sensitive. Even with turning sensitivity all the way down, setting for human only and creating a target zone, it still comes on and alerts too often.

This camera is excellent. The video quality and playback are so clear, it’s easy to control, the app is excellent. It can withstand very high temperatures as long as it is not in direct sunlight. By far the best camera I have tried. There is no requirement to subscribe to any service which is great.

Wow wow wow. This product delivers. True 2K with no grain as you zoom. Crisp view, audio is clear. Motion was detected over 80ft front of my home. Price is incredible. I personally think if you have great Wi-Fi with a gray modem and router set up for your home then you will get amazing results with a Wi-Fi camera. If you don’t have that great of internet then I suggest hardwired cameras for you.

Was having trouble with people stealing catalytic converter in the neighborhood. So i put one of these up to catch anyone. The picture quality is more than enougn for that, But it has actually become a deterrent, Any would be robbers are scared off by the auto spotlight in the dark. The ease of access to your cellphone is great as well.

Overall this is a great camera. Picture quality is great even in low light conditions, notifications are quick and using the on board storage is great to avoid the monthly costs from subscriptions. The only issues I have are the false alerts and sometimes it doesn't pick things up if they are at the corners of view. I also have arlo cameras and the eufy is much better for quality of video and reliability/longevity.

Eufy Outdoor Cam Pro Wired 2K - if you are okay with Eufy (they did have security concern in arguably recent past) and you have a way to safely connect camera to power, then I think this camera is a great option. Good/better picture quality, and it is optional for any (pay for) cloud storage i.e. can keep footage all on device (with an SD card I think required) or a Homebase to skip any monthly fees.
Search YouTube for more reviews - before buying I did.
Runner up a Google camera (but only because I already have Google subscription that includes all cameras I could own) but as of July 2023 only affordable was 1K option. Ring while IMHO arguably good quality the fees (ugh).

I feel this is better than ring stick up cam in so many ways, quality blows ring away. The app is much better. And you can save your own videos locally no fees and absolutely no subscription needed. Something ring doesn’t do because why would they ? When they can sell you monthly storage space , I got rid of all my ring garbage scam cams! And went with EUFY. also the camera works 100% all features available without a subscription, ring says you don’t need a subscription for their cams either, what a scam! Try a ring cam with no monthly subscription and see what features it has! Absolutely nothing, just the ability to do live view, and you can’t even record that !! Throw your ring scam cams in garbage and go EUFY. best cam I’ve bought!

Best camera for the value! Great picture/video quality, nice built-in features such as spot light, siren alarm, and microSD card slot for recording video without a cloud subscription. It also works really far – I have this connected to my WiFi that's at least 500-700ft. away at my front gate. My neighbors that have a $100K+ security camera system is envious of my Eufy camera that they want to switch. Their cameras keep going down, but ours works pretty well.
Only gripe I have is that there are quite a bit of false triggers, even with outlined zones. Shadow movements trigger notifications too. But I'd rather have it working then not.
Eufy's customer service is great too. My first camera died within 6 months, but they sent me a new camera under warranty.

Picture is very clear and sharp. Installation was easy. Just requires one screw (provided). Magnetic base works well. Very long cord compared to other brands
32gb SD card provided, so no need for cloud service, unless u want it. Camera is small (which I like because it's less obvious). I have this installed outside, well above the garage, and the lights illuminate the area at night nicely (triggered with motion or you can turn on during "live view"). Wide field of vision. Recommend you watch for a sale (when it runs about $49). Well worth it at that price
