Easy install, awesome quality and no subscription fees. This product rocks, the camera is really clear and automatically tracks people or movement depends on how you set it. You can also just go in manually and move around the camera to check things out. Well worth the price!!!

This is an amazing piece of tech. I love the idea of having 180 degrees of coverage for the front of my home and the added benefit of a floodlight that is bright but can be calibrated to suit my needs. The install was smooth and the setup was simple. Just make sure to have adequate WiFi coverage for the camera to perform at its best.

Recently did some research and compare to the Ring product, this Eufy security system are much better, i see that are a lot of Pros and few Cons, so far it hold up to it's name. Very nice clear pictures, the functions, flood light, the local storage and with no monthly subscription fee that's a go getter. Few Cons that I found to the device, is too bulky ,set up and installation is quit easy with some difficulty, but good. The big Cons point is probably the App and the alert.it pretty slow on alert, when it detect the movement, it take merely minute to get an alert, most of the occasion, i misses the alert already. It's not instant alert like Ring, when mailman show up tonthe drive way, drop the mail that when i received an alert of motion at the garage. After, all i think if the software update may get rid of the bugs. Overall, quite satisfied with the quality and the security and money savings.

Great product and works really well. Have it setup in my driveway and catches any person walking up the driveway. Love the 360 tracking, so there's no blind spots in my driveway. Does need some tuning during the initial setup, it was picking up everything including cars that are driving by. I have it tilted down a bit and adjusted the sensitivity. Now it's perfect for my setup and only pickup up people who's walking up my driveway. I would definitely recommend if you're in market for one.

The quality of the video is decent, not the best. You really can't see fine details like license plate numbers or zoom in too much. The worst part is that I just really got this security camera in May of this year and as everyone knows it was a very dry summer, We just had the first few days of heavy rains and now the plastic lens cover is full of water and I can't get a clear picture. I'm really disappointed in the quality of this camera because $300 isn't exactly cheap for 1 camera. I love the concept of a smart Ai enhanced camera that follows movement but it's lacking the quality.

We spend quite a bit of time away from our primary residence and I have been looking for security cameras and floodlights to provide feedback while on the road. With the eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro you get the best of both worlds, a high intensity floodlight and a 2K security camera! There is an existing floodlight on our front deck and is a perfect location for the new eufy. Unboxing – eufy did a great job of making the install and setup of this system very easy. Included in the box with the camera and mounting equipment are a couple items that really helped out. The camera comes with a USB cable for configuring the system before installing and a small “S” shaped hook and strap to hang the floodlight while connecting to the power source on install. They are simply yet very useful additions to the package. Set Up – Simply plug the unit with the USB cable and wait until the LED on the unit blinks red. While that is running, it’s required to download the eufy App for your Apple or Android device. The app was easy to use on my iPhone as it walks the user through the setup steps to connect to the unit. An important step to consider during setup and mounting location planning is to make sure there is a strong WiFi signal so the camera can stream live video. We have a mesh device very close to the mounting location and the live video streaming works great! Once the app is installed it walks thru the WiFi connection process. This takes less than a minute to run and connect. Mounting – Once the existing floodlight was removed, it was a simple process to install the eufy system. They provide all of the mounting hardware in the box, including the nifty hook to hold the unit in place while connecting the wires, wire nuts, mounting bracket and bolt. Simply connect the power, neutral and ground wires and fasten the unit to the supplied mounting bracket. It’s a very clean looking unit once in place as there is a single mounting screw that holds the unit to the power box and a matching stick-on cover to hide the screwhead. The three light banks are all easily adjusted with thumbscrews. Camera/Floodlight Settings – Once installed, it’s time to customize the system, and eufy provides a number of setting options including motion detection sensitivity, recording options, video quality, notifications and storage to name just a few. The features that really stand out on this unit are the 360° Pan and Tilt camera control, AI Subject detection and tracking and the amazingly bright 3,000 lumen lights. I haven’t used any eufy devices in the past and was really impressed with the ease-of-use of their app and the multitude of settings and adjustments available. Pros: - Very well-built unit and easy to setup and install - eufy Security App is loaded with features/setup options and is user-friendly - Full 360° pan and tilt camera control from your mobile device, amazing! - 2K video is crisp and the live feed option is great for piece-of-mind while travelling - 3,000 lumen floodlights light up our entire deck and makes for amazing night video capture - Built in AI cuts the number of “false alarms” considerably by designating “Human Only” alerts and tracks once detected. - Panoramic Mapping feature is really cool for creating a point-to-view image - Local Storage – no need to pay for monthly storage, there is 8 GB available on the unit - 100dB alarm and two-way communication for added security is a must! Cons: - The camera cover seems to get dust on it easily which can blur/distort the video feed The eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro is exactly what I was hoping for when selected. It’s solidly built, easy to install and setup and has so many features/options. I would certainly recommend this system for anyone considering a purchase of a security camera or motion sensor floodlight…you will not be disappointed!

    Great concept, almost great execution

Firstly, while Best Buy notes this is a wired camera system, that only refers to the hard wiring for the floodlights. The camera connects wirelessly to your network using any 2.4Ghz router. You will not need (or be able to use) an ethernet wire. This does require an outdoor light electrical box. You’ll also need to be comfortable working with electrical boxes, similar to wiring a wall switch. Eufy has upgraded their floodlight camera to allow for panning and tilting (no zoom). The camera is enclosed in a clear hemisphere under the floodlights. This allows the camera to move without danger of any obstructions or moisture. The downside is that the housing must be kept clean in order to have a clear view. The camera can be set to move manually or to sweep the area on a timed interval. The unit also has motion sensors pointing all around and will automatically move the camera in the direction that motion is detected. The lights are bright and energy efficient. The LED lights cast 3000 lumens, which is equivalent to about 250W worth of output. The LED lights use only a fraction of that. They provide good visibility of my whole front yard. There are 3 panels which can be angled independently of one another. The app will notify you when someone or something crosses the zones that you define. The lights will also turn on, providing notice to whomever is there along with good lighting for the camera to record all the action. The action is auto recorded onto a non-removable local memory card. Cloud recording is available for an additional monthly fee. If no further motion is detected, the lights will go off after a configurable interval which defaults to 30 seconds. The camera will track any objects which are moving across the the field of view and pan to follow them.. Two things I was a bit disappointed about; 1) When it’s dark out, the camera switches to night mode. Night mode is black and white only. When the floodlight goes on, the camera stays in night mode instead of turning back to a color image the way it’s predecessor did. 2) The choices for movement alerts are ‘Human’ and ‘Everything’. When the alerts come up, they appear to determine if there was a vehicle or animal which caused the alert. I would love to be able to filter on vehicle alerts, but the software doesn’t currently allow for that. Overall, this is a good concept and good execution. Build quality looks decent. A few software tweaks would make this a great security system, but it’s very workable in the meantime.

    More than just Security

The houses in my neighborhood have alleyways with back entrance garages, and I just have a standard old double bulb floodlight. So this was a much needed addition. Out of the box it pretty much has everything you need to get it installed, that is of course, if you already have an existing hard-wired floodlight. If you don't have one or at least a pre-wired junction box, you'll definitely need an electrician. Having an existing floodlight however, it's as easy as turning off the power, unscrewing the old light, disconnecting the wires, then connecting the corresponding wires on this unit and mounting it to the junction box. They even supply you with a hook that you can use to hang the floodlight cam from the junction box, leaving you with both hands free to connect the wires. It's one of those minor things that says a lot about the quality of the product. I was at first concerned about physical security of the device, meaning how easy it would be for someone to steal it. There are no proprietary bolts or anything of the sort, just an adhesive backed round cover for the hole the bolt goes through. After actually using that cover though I found it to be much better than I thought. It feels like the same white plastic as the rest of the case, and it fits in the opening just right so that it sits perfectly flush and doesn't leave any space along the sides. That makes it pretty hard to pry off, and that's if you can figure out there's a bolt behind it. I found out the hard way how difficult it is to pry that cover off. I thought I messed something up on the install (I didn't) and had to pull it off. It took me at least 5 minutes of prying to get that cover off. Luckily this camera came with 2 of them since I mangled the first one quite a bit. Before you do all that though you first need set the camera through the Eufy Security App. This is actually my second Eufy product, as I already have their doorbell. That made this whole process so much easier since it uses the same app that I already had for the doorbell. All you have to do is tap the 'Add a Device' button, select your device, scan the QR code on the camera and follow the steps. It couldn't be much easier. The fact that you can have all their security offerings in one app is a huge plus. It's an easy to use app too that lets you manage your devices and has different options for each right on the home page depending on the capabilities of the device. For example, with the floodlight cam there's a button to turn the led lights on without having to click into the device. Whereas the doorbell doesn't have that button since it doesn't have that function. As for functionality, I love this device. The 360 degree cam, the lights, the speaker, the mic, everything. The picture is clear and the app lets you set zones. The AI tracking is really cool too and works great. It works flawlessly with the app too, so you can start streaming at anytime, and then pan around to see whatever you want. The floodlights are nice and bright and can be adjusted and the sound coming out of it is plenty loud when you need to scare someone away, or mess with an unsuspecting friend or neighbor! I really am impressed with how well everything works and looks on this camera. It's versatile too and has uses other than security. At night when you need a little extra light the LEDs are there for you. Forgot if you closed the garage door or put out the trash bins on trash day? Just take a peek. Need help making sure your car is pulled into your garage in the perfect spot? Start the stream and pan it over. I actually use this all the time now since I like to have my car as far back towards the garage door to give me more room up front to work on it. Best of all, you get all of these features and recording with onboard storage for no extra fee! That's one of the things I love about my Eufy Doorbell too. There's no subscription. You get to use all of the features straight out of the box for what you pay for it. They do offer cloud storage if you need it that costs extra, but there's plenty of storage space on board so I haven't found a need for it. If there's one negative I have, it's that the max recording length it lets you set is 2 minutes. You can go into the app and manually start recording video, but if you're not by your phone or dead asleep, you would miss anything that happens after those couple minutes of recording. I wish it gave longer options, especially since it has an option for it to stop recording once movement has stopped. So you rarely actually have a video of the max length. The only other issue I really found is WiFi connectivity, but that's more of an issue with how the network is setup in your home. With the doorbell all the way at the front of my house, and this floodlight cam all the way at the back, it sometimes has trouble getting a good signal when for some reason my router is sending out a weak signal. It's not a big problem for me since I have a smaller house, but if you have a large house you might want to look into beefing up the network. Overall I couldn't be any happier with this floodlight cam. It's put me so much more at ease now knowing I have eyes on my truck and driveway. And with the Security app and how well it integrates their different devices, I'll definitely be looking to add other Eufy products to my home.
