1. The solar panel does what it is supposed to do. If place in direct sunlight for 4+ hours then you will have no need to recharge the camera even if its getting constant usage. 2. The lenght of the cable to connect the solar panel is long enough to place it somewhere where the sun will keep shining on it. 3. Motion detection still needs improvement. The camera still fails detect motion even with motion sensitivity at to the highest. 4. 8 gbs if storage is not enough and wish they at least made possible to add additional storage.

Great solar security camera. Have bought many Eufy cameras and have no problem with any one of them. I have a total of 10+ cameras (all solar except for 2) and these cameras give me a sense of security. Whether it is a vehicle a pet or a person who walks near my home, the cameras captured them all. Camera is spot on once it is activated, it’s the sensing zone that a bit disappointing. If you tuck into a nook, then yes it is good. I mounted on my screened in deck in hopes it would be a 360* sensing machine, but not so much. Works better than our version 2 pro cameras, better picture and love the follow the movement. The supports on the deck confuse the camera, thus stopping at the column and not following the original person. All in all, I got these on black Friday sale and it was worth the cost.

We live in West Texas, where there is A LOT of sunlight and pretty much no trees. We wanted cameras but didn't want to worry about wiring them in, so we opted for solar panel cameras, and they work amazing! If you're surrounded by trees, you'll need to wire them in so they can stay charged, but if you live in an area like West Texas, then these cameras are perfect.

Lags a lot you have to keep refreshing the page sometimes it won’t load And battery dies quick even with the sun charging it. Have to take it down and charge it every 2 days. Other than that the picture and video are good. But you can’t put color for night vision since it kills the battery faster. For an over $200 dollar product should have been like buying the ring or nest. Should have gotten one of those instead.

Has great features. Local storage and no monthly fees. This can be standalone or if you want to add the eufy home base then you can store years worth of clips. You can have it live view and record with both cameras, one close up and one father away.
