Love the tracking capability and the clarity of the videos. Very sensitive to movement and identification of the subject. Was slow to pickup the 2.4 network, but once done, it works great.

No warranty

We purchased an S340 and sixteen days later the camera began saying it does not recognize the solar panel anymore. The return window for BestBuy had closed, so I began researching how to get a warranty fix/replacement through Eufy. On their warranty page it states: “Please note this page is regarding purchases made through this website or the eufy store on Amazon. For purchases made through eufy’s authorized resellers, please contact them directly.” So, their “hassle free warranty” only applies if you purchased direct from them, or their store on Amazon? If the product was purchased through another authorized retailer your warranty is apparently the return period, which in the case of BestBuy is fifteen days. I have been trying to get in touch with Eufy but no response vi e-mail, and their support phone number hangs up on me the moment I push “3” for Eufy support (versus Anker). How convenient. I would therefore recommend staying away from Eufy and instead go with a brand that will stand by their products if a problem arises weeks to months after purchase.

Could be cheaper

They cannot record 24x7. But for a solar camera they cant be beat. Highly recommended. I have had many cameras now for the last 10 years and these are the best.

It takes some time to fine tune it, but it's very good. Hopefully it will last for a long time. We use it with the HomeBase 3 and we have several other cameras from Eufy. This one is the best one.

I have one in the front and back and you can go all 180 on this . The resolution is amazing . You can see clearly everything at a far distance . I had Arlo and this is way better .

Hold out for the next version

Everything else seems to work well. Would be a much better value (and extremely competitive) about $20-$30 less.

Sometimes the camera will track movement and sometimes the camera will not, even though the movement was within 15 feet. Video recording was sporadic. Camera was set to record for 120 seconds, but at times would only record for 17 seconds even though there was constant movement within the sensor range. Reset the Solocam numerous times to try to correct these problems, but it did not help. After dealing with these problems for a week, decided to return the Solocam. I am hoping that Eufy will correct these problems in the near future.
