    I bought this camera to try and replace my ring cameras. I wanted to get away from the subscription but let me set off by saying I can see why ring charges a subscription. I love the concept of this camera but the app is a complete nightmare. First off I love the local storage when it works. Half the time it was super slow to load recorded videos and most of the time it would say failed to load videos. Not only that recording videos is a complete pain. There is no option for automatic recording options and there was a 5-second minimum timeout before this camera records motion again which made it miss multiple recordings. The app almost seems like a beta test since it doesn't work half of the time. If they could figure out how to make it better app than this camera would be good but for now multiple issues and would highly recommend you stay away from this camera and if you're looking to make the switch like I was to ditch a subscription all I can say is I would recommend paying the subscription for the most accurate recordings.

    Just get a 4k static solar camera instead. This thing will randomly lose connection and it turns very slowly, internal storages is terrible too. The wired flood light has an sd card slot, for the price, why doesn't this one?

    Only installation help is via the application. Good in concept, love the solar panel and 3k camera. But it is useless when the device refuses to connect to your wifi. I've tried two different 2.4 networks.
