Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent cameras and night vision, hard drive installation was easy with a standard SSD, wireless works across the house, alarm is loud although I wouldn't use it on a regular basis unless you have a very low activity area to trigger it. Install was easy, used anchors in my stucco, sealed with some gutter sealant I had, figured better than nothing. Didn't use anchors and screwed right into the fascia board for one camera. Stock mounts and hardware are very good. DEFINITELY get an SSD hard drive for the HomeBase if you want to store any kind of recordings past a week. Love the system and the ability to add on with newer cameras in the future.

If you’re buying this for the bionic mind AI, don’t. It’s useless and inaccurate. If you’re buying this with a home base to expand the local storage, don’t. It doesn’t work either. I expanded the local storage to a 2 TB and I can’t get any of my videos to save on it. Support forums show no promise of a fix for the storage issues in the near future. Also, in comparing the “4K” resolution they advertise to 1080P, I can’t tell a difference.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This isn’t really breaking news but people have found a huge flaw where Eufy is saying nothing goes to the cloud but that’s not accurate. Photos,account data, and facial recognition data are being sent up to their cloud. Also you can view live streams of cameras that aren’t yours using vlc player. None of this stuff is encrypted so avoid Eufy like the plague.

Since you basically have your own private cloud storage on the homepage, the response time is much faster.  it is much faster to get a live view, and much faster to review saved recordings. Also, not having to pay a monthly fee is awesome.
