    These are not needed, however, if you want your cameras to blend in to a darker background, they definitely help. I do not notice any issues with them, and have them on all of our cameras (our house is darker colored).

    Even though my Eufy Cams are IP67 weatherproof I wanted an extra layer of protection for a couple cameras that are mounted without any shelter from a porch roof or an overhang. They slip on easy and fit snugly.
