    An Amazing Vac

This vac is amazing in how much dirt it will pull out of a carpet. I thought my old Hoover was great but it couldn't hold a "suction" (LOL) to this EUREKA. It is easy to push and on a hard floor it will automatically adjust itself from carpet to hard. Works just a efficiently on hard surfaces as it does on carpet.

    Great vacuum

This is a great vacuum for the money. It picks up absolutely everything and without clogging. It also has an attachment that literally sucks the dog/car hair right off your clothing or furniture (even the wire haired type dogs that are hard to get off). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has too many components to take apart to empty the canister when full and is incredibly messy in the process. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The vacuum was amazing on different types of carpet and even on a hard kitchen floor it worked great. Easy to take apart and clean when it got too full and everything on it was washable and removable. The only problem I had is the self retracting cord didnt always retract. Had to pull the cord out over and over and retry to retract if it wouldnt go in. Eventually it would go in but sometimes took more time then it could save. Not a big deal but was annoying.

Easy to set up, light to carry from floor to floor, nice tools reaches all roofs for cobwebs, dog hairs all sucked away in seconds after use. Love there is no change of bags, just empty and reset good to go on another round.

    Eureka! A Pet Vacuum

This vacuum sucks, really. We have 2 Rough Coat Collies (think Lassie) that shed a lot of hair. We have a mix of hardwood with area rugs and carpet. This vacuum does well on each surface. I deducted points on the features because I do not like the auto coil plug. It doesn't retract 100% each time, so you find yourself pulling-retracting for a few minutes until settled. We have passed this feature all together and simple coil the chord and hang it on the handle. No frustration, easy access. Another hit was the lack of extension rods. There is one, however it is not long. We saved one of the rods from our previous Eureka to use with this. Not a deal breaker, but a notable lack. The strengths of this vac are found in its light weight build and suction. We have three story home, so there is a lot of up and down the stairs. This vac gives us no issues. Also, dust, dirt, debris, pet hair, etc. have been no match for the power of the vac. To note, the vac container and filter break down nicely to allow for through cleaning. Don't know if this is completely necessary, but is appreciated...just feels cleaner! We haven't had the vacuum for more than a few months, so I can not speak to the longevity of the vacuum or its replaceable components, like the belt and brush, however out of the gate, we are pleased to recommend the Eureka SuctionSeal PET HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum.

    Wood Floors to Carpet

Overall great product. Went from wood floors to Carpet so needed a to get a vacuum. Pretty happy with our purchase thus far. The only beef I have is the handle bottom is flimsy worried that it will break. We have a 3.5 yr old and its hose works great for getting all the stuff that falls between the cushions. It's nice being able to flip the switch and go from tools to the main vacuum in seconds. Also our dog LOVES the suction for cleaning up dog hair he follows us around waiting to get his hair brushed w/ the suction brush.

I like eureka products. I tried the Hoover wind tunnel and had to return it the next day. It made a awful whistling noise, but not the Eureka. It was working straight out of the box. Very powerful suction!, nice attachments send tools. Easy to empty. Just heavy to lift to carry to multiple floors in my homr

    Decent vacuum

This was the only vacuum I could find at Best Buy that had a self-winding cord and that I could afford. It is much lighter than my previous vacuum, which I love, and it always seems to pick stuff up even when I think my rugs are clean. The power button is more of a pedal and placed in a bad spot, towards the bottom of the vacuum on the back. After using the hose part, I would go to put it back in it's place and find that the hose got wrapped around the power pedal, almost breaking it. After wrapping the hose back up, there is no secure way to keep it from flying all over the place, except for a small clip that you awkwardly have to place the very end of the hose attachment to. It's a bit of a pain to have to manually change the vacuum height to adjust for carpet vs. bare floors, as my other vacuum had a nifty foot pedal that would change the height for you, which meant no bending! But that is just my preference. The lever to switch the rotater brush on and off is down on the bottom left of the vacuum. My old vacuum had a button built into the handle that would switch the brush on and off. This was much easier. Again, just preference. The debris container is made up of a few parts. Normally, you wouldn't need to bother with all the different parts unless you were planning on washing them out. With my other vacuum, I rarely needed to do this, but with this vacuum I have to do it every couple of times of use or it effects the suction a bit (I don't know if this is a design flaw, or if it means my other vacuum just wasn't picking up as much stuff as I thought it was). I found that the reason for the suction loss was that the tiny holes in the cone shaped part got clogged, or the foam pad got caked up. Washing these things gets it up and running again the way it's supposed to, but when you wash the parts, getting them back together is a bit of a pain. They have to fit just right, or the darn thing won't close. Now that I've done it a bunch of times, it's a little easier to put back together. Does a good job of picking up larger things without having to run over them again and again. All in all, it gets the job done.

    Supreme Suction

While there is definitely room for improvement, the suction of this vacuum far exceeds that of the comparable alternatives I have used. PROS: - Better Suction on Floors: Whether bare floors or long pile carpet, it picks up dirt and pet hair in a single pass. - Better Suction (Attachments): The design of this vacuum minimizes bends and distance, which results in much better suction when using attachments (at the expense of a few minor tradeoffs listed below.) - Easy to Empty: The canister detaches and empties easily and cleanly. CONS (Minor, but worth mentioning): - No Carrying Handle: Transporting this vacuum up and down stairs- or while trying to clean stairs is awkward. - Short Accessory Hose: You can't stray too far from the vacuum with any of the attachment accessories. - Undersized Attachments: Crevice tool, extension, and other attachments are a little too small to be fully effective. - Excessive Settings: In order to use this vacuum, you must set the height, the brushroll on/off, and the floor/attachment switches. This takes some getting used to, but I consider it a worthwhile trade off to get better suction and performance.

I BOUGHT THIS VACUUM AFTER USING A KIRBY FOR 21 YEARS. I LIKE IT BETTER. IT IS EASY TO USE, LIGHTWEIGHT, HAS MASSIVE SUCTION POWER, AND ALL THE ATTACHMENTS ARE RIGHT ON THE VACUUM TO EASILY REMOVE AND USE. I HAVE CARPET UPSTAIRS AND TILE DOWNSTAIRS. THIS VACUUM CLEANS BOTH WITH A QUICK FLIP OF A SWITCH...CLEAVER.

Overall, for the price you pay for this vacuum, it's great! You have to switch the setting (very easily, just turn a knob on the side) when you want to use the attachments. The first few times I went to use the attachments I forgot about switching it and couldn't figure out why there was no suction, but once I remembered it had amazing suctioning. The various attachments that come with the vacuum are wonderful for getting in those hard to reach places and for areas such as stairs. I own a golden retriever and have noticed that his hair will clog around the brush rollers so when I finish vacuuming I have to always remember to manually pull the dog hair off. I vacuum my house almost every day and I'm always amazed at how much dirt and dust this vacuum can get. I've even had visitors comment on seeing a difference since buying this vacuum as compared to my old one. I would definitely recommend buying one!

For the price this vacuum was a good purchase. It's lightweight, easy to assemble and delivers on it's claims. We have a German Shepherd and it is a constant challenge with his hair. This vacuum does an excellent job at picking up the hair on both carpet and tile surfaces. The retractable cord and attachments are nice bonus that add to it's overall value. The canister is easy to detach and empty when needed.

We purchased this as an alternative to buying a Dyson and the truth is this vaccuum does a better job than the Dyson that we tried. We would probably replace this with the same vacuum.

I was shocked at how powerful this vacuum is. It almost propells itself across the rug and the suction is fantastic. It is an easy toe adjustment to move from carpet to hard wood floor and to turn off the rotating bristles. It was easy to set up, I did it myself. It is also heavy. The heaviness feels like good quality machinery, instead of clunky. And the cord retracts! That is seriously one of my favorite things. I love the new vacuum!

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever bought. The suction on this vacuum cleaner is so powerful it really sucks up the pet hair and dirt deep down in the carpet and on furniture. The tool to clean the furniture is easy to operate you don't have the hose twisting . One button to push to have the cord retract and not get tangled up. The canister is one of the easiest to empty I have ever owned, and you don't have all that dust and dirt flying out. You don't have to turn the canister upside down to empty it, you just open the bottom of it and all the dust and dirt falls out into the garbage. We have notice the air quality in our home is fresh and clear after our weekly vacuuming..

This vacuum works great on everything except when trying to vacuum up rabbit hay due to the long strands. otherwise it sucks everything up and doesn't get clogged. It's easy to empty and put together. It's a regular sized vacuum, which is easy to store in a closet. I have no stairs to try it on, but it does come with a minature vacuum tool to attatch to the hose which would be great for stairs. It has some weight to it, but it is not too heavy and has wheels to roll it around.
