Got this today to upgrade my old 550 watt OCZ power supply. My system was outgrowing it. i9-9900k OC at 5GHz on all 8 cores, corsair liquid cooler, etc. I had it on the Radeon VII that i ordered at the same time for a couple hours but that graphics card was causing blue screens and artifacts even with newest drivers, so it's going back. With that said, it is now back on my old nvidia gtx 1080ti and working well. Looking to get a nvidia 2080 from BB since the Radeon VII didn't work out. This should give more than enough power at 850 watts. I have it under a pretty good load and it has zero whine that I can hear over any of my fans, if any. FULLY modular style with TONS of cables included. Pretty well future proofed with this one, for now. Will keep updated if anything goes wrong. EVGA usually makes decent stuff. Nice to see it's got Japanese Rubycon caps in it.

Amazingly simply, EVERYTHING is labeled so you know what goes where, match up the cable to the device you are installing and you have a solid connection.. easy as that. It's been about 12 years since my last upgrade project, Modular wasn't even a thing we had back then.. In this case less is more.. My gaming PC is clutter free and everything looks so neat and organized, not having to figure out where 4 or 5 cables that will never be used just laying in the window display is great. Packaging was neat and organized. And the unit itself is a bit on the large side ,so be aware if your using a small atx case. PROS ( Can handle any single GPU you can think of , and has plenty of room to grow ) CONS ( Nothing I can think of right now, I love this PSU ) CPU Intel i7-8700 Ram 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB Motherboard Asus Strix z370-e gaming GPU EVGA 1070 FTW2 Boot drive Nvme samsung 500GB Data drive SSD Samsung 500GB X2 phantec case with corsair RGB

A nice step up from the OEM power supply!

Full disclosure: This power supply was a tad bigger than I was expecting, but that's my fault for trying to cram it into a Dell XPS 8700 micro ATX case. It fit (very tightly, with a little bit of force to get it inside the OEM tower's power supply restraint), but after it was in it was whisper quiet (I literally never hear the fan of my computer come on anymore, for any reason since I installed this, and yes, it is running). It is a modular power supply, meaning that you only connect the cords you need to free up air movement in your case, and the cable modules seem to be long enough to comfortably fit an ATX motherboard (mine is not, so I'm just estimating) with a little left over for cable management. My hardware doesn't exactly push the limits of this PSU's capabilities, but always buy more than you need for the future, eh? Time will tell how well it holds up, but the brand is known for quality and right now I highly recommended it.

I got this power supply a few months ago for a awesome price so this is a very high quality PS it feels very solid and works great with no issues at all.. The semi modular design i really like its kinda redundant to have the power supply as a removable cable from the PS in my eyes so i really like that design .. The cables are well made and plug into the PS with no issues and has enough connections if you want to run high end graphic cards or dual cards. The quality is so high it gave me a 7yr warranty after i registered this on EVGA's website.. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A UPGRADE ..

I am a corsair fan but on sale it was hard to pass up. Would be worth it at full price. It would have been nice if it included a couple of 90 degree sata power cable adapters for my Omen Obelisk but that is to be expected when you put big power in small cases. EVGA doesn't yet have one on their website but maybe someday they will and I can get a nice looking one to match their nice cables. I could cut, splice and shrink wrap the Amazon one in black but my get up and go got up and left.

Great power supply, the modular cords make picking an choosing what you need for your build very easy. I have used this supply for everything from a week long overclocking session to idling in sleep mode while out on a vacation and I have nothing bad to say. The fan is quiet and the power supply never once wavered or had an issue. The price can be a bit of a turn off but if you're looking for a supply to upgrade to and future proof, this is the one for you.

I got this PSU for my RTX 2060 and i7 4770 with 14GB RAM. The semi modular I hope to eventually upgrade my GPU since I have plenty of headroom left in my PSU. Total system power draw is up to 285watts from the wall when gaming at 4K under full load. I highly recommend this PSU if you are looking for quality, efficiency, and cleaning up wire mess!

Bought this to upgrade the power supply in my new iBuypower system more for piece of mind than anything else. This PS has fantastic reviews online. 850 watts, 80+ Gold, silent fan mode and when i bought it, EVGA was extending the warranty by an additional 2 years after registering it online with them. And the best part was I paid just over half of the retail price because it was on sale at the time. Win, win, win...

This powersupply is very quite and has plenty of power to give to my i7-8700 and rtx 2080 graphics card. Any cable you could need is supplied with it and are of ample enough length for any case for that perfect cable management. The only thing I wish was different was the main power wires being removable but at its price point it’s really not that big of a deal.

I upgraded to the EVGA 850w Gold Plus and I couldn’t be happier with this selection. It came with more than enough cords and connectors for even the biggest build, and the cords are black and quality. I can’t even hear it running under full load. Make sure you measure as this barely fit in my case. Will stick with EVGA in the future!

Bought this to replace my 550 watt ps due to upgrading to a power hungry Vega 56 video card and a cpu upgrade. The install was super clean due to the modular wiring and this is super quiet. Runs my system with no issues at all. I would buy one again if I needed another.

I've used Evga products for many years and had little to no problems with them. I was in need of a Psu upgrade from 700w to the new 850w Evga and it works Great! I've had no problems with it. I now have more than enough power to handle all my hardware in my system.

I bought this PSU in store looking for a fully modular PSU. The store nearest me always has the worst selections available. So I had no choice but to settle. It does the job good but there is better out there. Depends on your budget.

Modular wiring makes this a Best Buy. Only uses the wires you need to power your system. No extra wires just hanging around. The wattage is more than enough to power most gaming systems, and believe me, my system uses a lot of power.

This power supply is spot on with quality. I went from a 600 W to this 850 W power supply. I added a second RX 580 Radeon GPU on Crossfire, and a 240mm liquid CPU cooler. It handles all components with ease. Great value for the price.

What I liked about this power supply most was that with exception of the ATX cable, the cables were modular. You only needed to utilize cables needed for your system without having multiple unused cables cluttering the box.
