Super fast. Runs my Quest 2 at full resolution with no issues. Cyberpunk at 1440p with RTX Ultra/DLSS rarely goes below 60fps. Would have preferred an FE to save the $60, but this was the one that was available at the time. The red clown lips are a weird choice...

This thing is blazing fast and runs cool at high loads. Only downside is the supply shortage even months after the lunch. Good luck everyone. Also the tariff that went into effect 1.1.2021 caused the price increase which isn't helping everyone.

Just put this into my system and so far I'm loving it. It has exceeded my expectations and is running nice and cool. No complaints and would definitely recommend it to anyone if they are able to get their hands on one with the current stock issues.

This is my main gpu been using this for 6 months already and its great never had any issues, mainly gaming at 1440p and it can handle anything, one of the cheaper 3080 series cards apart from the FE but its still an amazing card.

This is the FHR version, somehow was lucky enough to reserve it recently. More compact than the ftw3 and cools about the same, surprisingly. Would definitely recommend this card

Card is a lot smaller than the other 3-slot 3080 beasts so this may be a good option for smaller builds. Runs cool out of the box, but fans do have a little whine in them at higher rpms

I've had 0 issues with this card. Highly suggest using the EVGA Precision app to turn the fan speeds up when gaming instead of auto. Temps: Temps in warzone with the auto setting was about 75-78* and setting fans to 65% brought them down to a consistent 73*. Noticed roughly the same result in F1 2021. FPS: Warzone FPS avg is 175 on competitive 1440p settings. I do not have FPS avg for F1 2021 as I haven't looked and don't really care. Verdict: If you can get your hands on it, definitely worth it. Can also register on EVGA's site within 15days of purchase to qualify for the step up program if you'd prefer to have a FTW3 model or 3090.

Used in my VR rig to power my Value Index VR set - It plays Halflife alyx at max resolution, 144HZ, and at the highest fidelity. Much better than my previous card of the rx 5700xt

Have been trying out many different games at 2k resolution at 144hz without any issues whatsoever regardless of how high I have the settings. I upgraded from a 1070 and the performance gains are just absolutely incredible. This has also made me a better player, Warzone at 144hz on Ultra settings is so buttery smooth that it's hard to miss! 10/10 would recommend if upgrading from a 2070 or lower.

This card is very fantastic! Runs 1440p at 144hz with ease! Just like anyone else that have it. The size of this card is very attractive because compared to other cards its very small and allows for easier cable management in your rig! Cons: It does run a little hotter than I would like, comparing the value of the card to the 3080 Tuf OC, this card is $20 more and it runs a little warm compared to the TUF Gaming when pushing the card. Also the red lips are a lot more noticeable in my rig. I was hoping it would of gotten the same treatment as the FTW with the black lip, however, its something very miniscule. Great product backed up with awesome support! Can't beat it!

Great card. Stays cool and is only 2.15 slot vs many other big cards. The only issue I have with the evga cards is that you need to use precision x1 to control all the fans.

After 8 months of trying I was able to get my hands on this bad boy and it’s absolutely incredible. Max settings in every game on my 2k ultra wide with little stress. If you have an nzxt case I would recommend changing it for a case with better airflow cause I did have to adjust the fan curve to provide more air but other than that incredible.

I've been running this card for around a week now and thus far it's as great as advertised. I managed to fit it into my nCase M1 mini-ITX case without any issues, as this is one of the few models that will fit into that case without requiring any special adjustments. Despite the smaller case and limited airflow compared to more expansive offerings, the card still runs at ~70C under sustained load, which is better than I expected. Note that the default fan profiles are definitely rather conservative, so if you're looking for longevity, I do recommend updating the default profile for extra cooling, at the expense of noise.

Managed to finally get a 3080 in 2021! Actually was looking at this exact card for its smaller 2-slot+ form factor and understated design (plus no more red lips, got a black one). As with other 3080 cards with 2 power connectors, this card is pretty restricted by its 366W max power limit but not as badly as some other 3080s. Runs great when undervolted with power limit maxed out, temps in the high 60s-low 70s. Fans go all stop at 50C and the card is silent when not under 3D/gaming loads. And thanks to Best Buy for having a good system in place that at least gives us mere mortals a shot at buying one of these cards.

I know these 3080s are nearly impossible to get, but they are worth it, especially the EVGA versions. Great warranty and customer service. Keep your receipt for when you register the card. The card itself works flawlessly. On initial install, the default fan curve resulted in the fans off at idle, and a subsequent idle temp in the 50 deg C region. Nothing harsh, but kinda high. Installed EVGA's Precision X software and set a custom fan curve that idles the card's fan at 800rpm and the card is a nice 29 deg and still silent. Doesn't break 65 deg when gaming at 1440p. Purchased before the tariffs raised the price $70.

I paired this card with a Ryzen 5900x on a B550 motherboard and some fantastic b-die G. Skill Ram @ 3600 MHz. I couldn't be more pleased with the uplift in performance over my previous machine (i7-8700k, GTX-1080). Out-of-the-box temps do run a bit hotter than my old 1080 FTW card, but nothing outrageous or unexpected of a 3080 card. I idle around 60 C with temps hitting about 74 C when I'm going hard in a game with high settings. EVGA has always been a good brand of cards in previous generations that I've owned and that seems to be the case in this generation as well.
