Customers praise the GP Series SuperNOVA 1000W power supply for its reliable performance, high-quality build, and low noise levels. Many appreciate the modular design and the included cabling, along with EVGA's excellent warranty. While some users noted the larger size of the unit and occasional coil whine issues, the positive feedback on performance and quality largely outweighs these concerns. The ease of installation and use are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects.

Not much to say. It powers all my things, it's modular, and it comes backed by EVGA's legendary warranty. If there's one thing you don't want to cheap out on in a computer it's the power supply. Always buy from one of the reputable manufacturers and always err on the side of caution when it comes to choosing how much power you need. It's better to have a little too much than not enough or exactly as much as you need so you have absolutely no room to grow. EVGA is one of the most reliable manufacturers out there and have a wide variety of options no matter what your needs are.
Cables are attractive and feel robust without being obnoxiously thick or hard to manage. Fan is quiet. Unit has more power than most people need and enough headroom to build all but the most demanding gaming machines without the worry of power spikes or overloading. Unit feels solid and heavy, which it should considering just how much power it cranks out. 80 Plus Gold rating is great for this price range.
Stock is shaky these days but if you can find it in stock and at MSRP it's a heck of a PSU for the money and you probably won't have to upgrade for some time unless you start doing whacky stuff like adding multiple GPUs.

Been using this PSU for awhile now and it have never given me any issues! EVGA has some pretty good prices on them and with a 1000watt PSU I can use pretty much any gpu I want!!!

Great PSU that can handle anything. Being that its not a PCIe 5 PSU should only worry you if you do not want to use the adapter that comes with the 3090 ti, 4080, and 4090. The amount of available ports on this thing allows me to run everything right down to the power for the USB C port on my case.
What is connected to this PSU?
Asus ROG Maximus Hero Z690 which needs two 6+2 CPU plugs, 1 24 pin ATX plug, 1 6 pin to power the USB C port (super fast charging).
Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4090 (4 6+2 pin plugs)
Cooler Master RGB controllers (2) (1 sata cable needed)
10 port PWM fan hub (uses the same sata cable)
I have ports left over and am not sure I will ever need them. I have a Lian Li o11d XL so no pictures. It is a bit longer than say the 850w so make sure your case is large enough to fit it. An 850w leaves a small gap between the back of the psu and the center bar in the case. This 1000w actually extends a little under the center bar.

I needed a 1000 watt PSU. I purchased a 4090 gpu and the MSI Atx 3.0 PSU that I purchased was DOA. This was available for immediate purchase so I got it. I did not end up getting replacement ATX 3.0 PSU as this EVGA has exceptional build quality. Quality cables and solid performance. Maybe later I will upgrade to an ATX 3.0 PSU so I can get rid of the 4 PCIe cables required for the GPU, but I am very happy with this purchase.

I had to return one since it had loud coil whine right out of the box, but the second one I got is working great! There is no noise whatsoever and it fits nicely in my case with the fan pointing downwards for cool air intake. Handles my powerful system well. You can't go wrong with EVGA power supplies and their warranty is great too.

Solid PSU, EVGA is one of the companies you can rely on having solid performance, quality and customer support, That being said, 1000w is overkill for the majority of those building their own PC rigs. I just bought this because it was on sale and needed one last minute for testing. It's fully modular and efficient.

Reliable, high quality product and run very quiet. Value for money when it is on sales. Modular and has 6 x 8pin PCIe connectors, 2 x SATA (6 all together), 2 x molex (6 all together). I used most of the connectors.

Got it about a month ago in replacement to my older psu, and I've never had any issues with it at all. It's pretty quiet and because the cables had sleeves it was very easy to route my wires through my pc (which is using an older EATX case)

The PS was on the shelf at my local Best Buy. Good price and I really like that the cables are modular, so you don't have a rats nest of unused cables. It runs quietly and powers my system easily. I recommend it and would purchase another one.

I've never been disappointed with EVGA's despite being a little more expensive. The PC I bought however used 1 PCIe VGA power cable. I cannot stress enough though not to use a single split PCIe VGA cable to power 2 port cards, especially on the higher end ones. YOU WILL BURN THE PORT. Why I got another PSU, PCIe ports are not designed to have that much power flow through them. There are plenty of ports for PCIe VGA's so use two or even 3 separate cables. This PSU provides just that. Plenty of power, ample amount of ports, and very low heat and volume when used properly.

This is a great no-frills power supply. I rebuilt my system with a lot of memory and an I-9 processor and two legacy video cards. Needles to say, I need power. This delivers at a great price. Since it's fully modular, you only need to plug in cables you need, which reduces clutter. That said, I saw a review that someone said they used their old cables from a previous supply and it shorted their board. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE! ALWAYS USE THE CABLES PROVIDED! Not everyone pins out their supplies the same. The mobo connectors may be standardized, but not the PSU connectors.
All in all, this is a great power supply at a better price (right now) than any of the competition. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
