Customers praise the GP Series SuperNOVA 1000W power supply for its reliable performance, high-quality build, and low noise levels. Many appreciate the modular design and the included cabling, along with EVGA's excellent warranty. While some users noted the larger size of the unit and occasional coil whine issues, the positive feedback on performance and quality largely outweighs these concerns. The ease of installation and use are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects.

Found this on sale cheaper than on the manufacturers site. The build quality is excellent, and it runs very quiet. With the (6) PCI plugs this can run 2 3090 without piggybacks or splitting. I would recommend this power supply if you are looking to upgrade for the future.

The fight against power spikes

Running a RTX 3080 has been a great yet challenging experience. While it's a very capable 4K card. I prefer the phrase "power specifc" versus "power hungry"
While many reviews and forums have listed 850W units as being a go to. This graphics card generation has placed allot of power supplies on trial for not meeting advertised specs and minimums.
This gen I purchased a psu that was to meet expectations of just allowing the card to work and perform. With time the issue that became a 80 tier and up topic became power spike leading to shut downs.
Knowing this the objective became to find a suitable replacement.
Intro the 1000w supernova gplus.
This card has given my gaming experience back. Specifically playing The Division2 and Outerworlds as these two games would garuntee a power spikes withing two hours of gaming. I can happily game.

Super powerful holy crap! I can run this for a whole month straight! Wish I could afford titanium but gold is the best! I think it’s just a money grab to go any higher than gold honestly.

When I bought a new GPU turned out that I also had to upgrade my PSU, and this was the one I went with because...well honestly it was on sale and the MSRP was better than another PSU, so when you get a more expensive PSU for less, that's winning. I like this one though--it's quiet, efficient, and it seems to run a lot cooler than the one before it. This was also my first try with a fully modular PSU, and I love it, because I don't have a ton of unneeded cables taking up space. But here's the thing though--if you have a small case, the cables this comes with don't have a lot of play (in other words they're hard to bend), so be prepared to spend a couple of hours finessing your cable arrangement.

There is nothing negative you can say about this PSU. I got it at the same time I purchased a 2080 because I was running a fairly cheap psu. Fully modular is the way to go. I was torn between this an the comparable Corsair product. I have no doubt both are great units. I was splitting haris and went with this one because it was about 10 dollars or so cheaper at the time, and I liked the spacing on the modular connections better, and how the labels were just easier to see - yea, splitting hairs here. I havent been disappointed however. Voltage rails are all perfect in windows. the 12v rail is sitting dead on 12.00v in monitoring apps which is nice to see. Not a bit of over or undervolting.

Got this on sale for $79.99 and man what a steal have been looking for a deal on a new psu. This thing came with a 12 year warranty after registering it with EVGA. The power supply itself is actually beautiful which is wierd for a PSU. Fan is quiet and has been a champ at everything I've thrown at it.

Got this guy on a recent sale to replace a 750w I had in my latest build that has been making headlines lately for having some major issues. Looking to upgrade to a 3080ti when available and always try to keep my power draw around max 75% of PSU rating. Overkill but it's not as hard on the PSU components vs running near max capacity all the time. Have had PSU's in the past take out other components on failure and worth the extra to me to possibly avoid the future headache. With 40xx series being rumored to be extra power hungry and EVGA's 10 year warranty this should serve it's purpose for years to come.

This is probably the most powerful supply you'll ever need for gaming. Works great but the fan is bigger than most other power supplies so keep your case size in mind. Comes with every cable you'd need and they're separate from the supply so that eliminates case clutter.

The price I paid for this power supply was reasonable for its capabilities and it has not let me down after a year of use. I don't hear any noise from the power supply under heavy or light loads.

This is my favorite EVGA 1000W PSU. It has two molex, and 6 PCI-e cables, 4 of those cables are single 8 pin, and 2 of them are 2x(6+2).
Very quiet and runs great, with a solid 10 Year Warranty.

EVGA makes great PSU's. It is on the larger size compared to new units out now. This unit EVGA has made for many years. It is reliable though, EVGA generally partners with superflower as their provider and they are good. EVGA warranty and support bar none best in the enthusiast market bar none.

Had to ding a star for the coil whine. Was running a hard game on 5800X + XFX 6900XT and it gives a coil whine for a bit then goes away. It comes and goes, but still annoying.. other than that, it comes with so many extra power cables. Pick and choose what you want and save the rest I guess, modular is the way to go to reduce cable clutter.

Thursday night around 11:30 EST my Thermaltake 850w PSU blew up. I heard a loud pop and my computer just turned off. I turned it back on and I saw fire coming out of the PSU. At that point, I turned it back off.
I went to look on Amazon for power supplies and there was not even one PSU 850w or more they would deliver to me in less than a week, and I am a Prime member for 10 years now. And I needed it now.
So I checked Best Buy and found this PSU and they would deliver it next day, for free. And they did, and a couple of hours later, my PC was back up! My rig is very quiet now and I have the coor off. Great!
