Not Quiet

Even at idle, the auto-eco mode spools the fan up to 100% every 30 seconds, runs for about 20 seconds, then shuts off. I would rather have the option of the fan running continuously at a lower RPM than cycling on and off every 30 seconds. On the plus side, it comes with 3 PCI-E cables for video cards that require 3 cables. Two of the cables have daisy chain connectors. If I wasn't outside the short return window, I would return it for a quieter PSU.

If you care about cable management and have a smaller case, this supply is not a good choice. When installing this power supply, all of the connections are ok the back, so if you use a case like the Corsair 5000D Airflow, this supply is not very convenient. The modular cables are also very rigid, so it is hard to bend them to manage the wires on the inside of the case when routing.

Smelly but great psu
