No complaints. Provides good power at a good price with plenty of room to upgrade using the modular cable system and contributes no significant heat or noise. If space is a concert then be aware that the PSU is actually rectangular, about two inches longer than it is wide, and not the square shape shown in the picture. It's also rather heavy, which might be relevant if you're going for a semi-portable build. Otherwise, great PSU.

Good psu For High End Hardware

For the price to watt and efficiency rating, I would have to say it is a pretty good power supply for the newest high end hardware. I enjoy the eco mode it has built in and the fully modular helped simplify cable management, even though the cables are a bit stiff when routing cables.

I've been slowly upgrading my entire PC from the bottom up, so choosing the best PSU was huge for me. It was between this one or the Corsair RM850X and I can 100% say I made the right choice. Fits in all the cases I've tried. Extremely quiet, can hardly tell it's on. Handles my 3080 FE and 12600k combo very very handily. 10/10 would buy again.

The EVGA GT Series 850W Auto Eco Mode with FDB Fan 80 Plus Power Supply is a solid choice for users seeking a high-capacity PSU that offers reliable power delivery and efficient operation.
One of the key strengths of this power supply is its wattage capacity. With 850W of power output, it can easily handle demanding systems, including gaming PCs, workstations, and configurations with multiple high-end components. The ample wattage ensures stable power distribution and helps to prevent voltage fluctuations, thereby safeguarding the integrity of your system's hardware.
The "Auto Eco Mode" is a noteworthy feature that enhances the PSU's efficiency. By automatically adjusting the fan speed and power consumption based on the system's load, it helps reduce noise levels and power consumption during lighter usage scenarios. This not only contributes to quieter operation but also promotes energy efficiency, potentially leading to lower electricity costs over time.
The inclusion of a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan is another advantage of this power supply. The FDB fan technology provides quiet and efficient cooling, allowing for optimal heat dissipation and preventing excessive heat buildup within the unit. The result is reliable performance and extended lifespan of the power supply.
Build quality is generally reliable with EVGA PSUs, and the GT Series 850W is no exception. It features a sturdy construction and adheres to the 80 Plus certification standards, indicating high efficiency and reduced energy waste. This certification ensures that the power supply operates at high efficiency levels under typical load conditions, contributing to overall system stability.
One aspect to consider is the physical size of the power supply. Being an 850W PSU, it may have a larger physical footprint compared to lower-wattage models. Users should ensure that their PC case has sufficient space to accommodate the power supply comfortably.
In conclusion, the EVGA GT Series 850W Auto Eco Mode with FDB Fan 80 Plus Power Supply offers reliable power delivery and efficient operation. With its ample wattage, Auto Eco Mode, and FDB fan technology, it provides stable performance and quiet operation. While its physical size may require consideration, overall, it is a solid choice for users in need of a high-capacity power supply for their system.

The product is a bit expensive, but you're paying for quality. The PSU is modular, perfect for system builders who want convenience and easier cable management. It is pretty efficient too, it will hopefully last me another build or two. Would recommend.

This power supply worked very well for my build. It is a bit small but still fit in its respective shroud. Only complaint is that I wish it came with more standard VGA cables instead of so many pigtail cables. I found the pigtail cables cluttered my build. But overall a very solid power supply! I would definitely recomend this product. You can also buy additional cables from the manufacturer website.
