My old card died and I didn't want to get something of a similar speed so I did a little research and this card got amazing reviews and was significantly faster than my old 280X OC. Once installed it was faster than expected in every test! It's been rock solid in every game thus far and while I could run many games on high or ultra, the framerates are much better as is some of the new eye candy I seemed to have missed before. If you don't want to take the time to read reviews on multiple sites, I'll summarize, it's 5 stars pretty much everywhere with good reason. Great warranty from a great company with a long history of producing excellent video cards. If you need a GTX 1060, this is the one to buy!

Been almost 2 years now since I've picked this card up, I'll just say so far I've not had 1 complaint about it. The card runs quite and cool at stock settings and has no problems running games at 1080p/1440p high+ settings. The fun comes in despite having a factory overclock, is easily pushed further depending on how lucky you are with the silicone lottery. Mine is able to get an additional 110MHz on the core and 450MHz on the memory though as a reminder every card is different. As long as you don't mind the trade off of running an aggressive fan curve and the additional noise, the performance gain is noticeable.

This is my second 1060 i have the Asus Strix in another build runs doom 4 like dream @ 1080p on ultra. Thought i was getting a free game from evga because they're advertising on their website with the purchase of a 1060 rad Rodgers so I registered the car and uploaded the receipt and I still haven't got the game code or know where to find the game code I contacted EVGA but got no response or email back.

Upgraded from a gtx 750 ti and it was an incredible boost! I play vr games on high settings with little to no issue, and the issues I do see (stutter occasionally) are most likely bad/new game optimization. All in all a great graphics card!

I got this card for sale, was just over 300 with taxes, and it was totally worth it! I went from barely getting 60 FPS on low (Radeon 6870 in Crossfire) to putting everything on ultra and getting 120+. I haven't thrown anything super new at it (Witcher 3 is the most demanding I've tried yet), but I wasn't I looking for a top of the line new card. I wanted something affordable that will get me through the next couple of years, and I think this will do just fine.

EVGA is a great company withe great products and great customer service. I had this card for a while when it died out but would definitely buy an EVGA product again. FYI they have extended warranties too, 5 year and 10 year wish I had known because I would have extended the warranty for this.

It worked perfectly until it died

Well so far this card died on me very quickly, only in two months and I need to replace it, at first I was having some issues that it would turn off my PC in high load in Valley Engine benchmark and I hear the fans of the GPU spinning very loud at first. After a day or two it was working perfectly fine but after two months all I did was just watched two Netflix movies and decided to play Watch Dogs 2 for while and it suddenly kicked the bucket it today. When I put the HDMI cord in the video card it wasn't showing me no display, only when I put it through my Motherboard HDMI slot but when I put back my old EVGA Geforce GTX 960 FTW with 2gb of Ram it was working perfectly but Watch Dogs 2 is very unstable with this card. I have to get a replacement ASAP. Another thing I notice for the eight pin connectors the adapter for the pci-e wasn't clicking in to the 8 pins and it was very loose even if I press some force in the graphics card pin slot it didn't click like how my GTX 960 Adapter clicks into its 8 pin slot. I should've returned it when I notice the adapter didn't fit the 8 pin adapter properly. That could of cause the problem of the Watts going through for the graphics card. I am pretty upset because EVGA does make very high quality graphics card and for this one to die in less than two months was very unusual. My custom PC is about 5 years old but that shouldn't shorten the card that quickly since my EVGA GTX 960 FTW is very stable but not stable with modern games since 2gb of Vram doesn't cut it. That is why I wanted to upgrade the graphics card.

This card runs hot. Constant thermal alarms. The software does not sort the problem. Support from EVGA has been very disappointing. Buy just about anything else
