Great for VR!

Turns out this is a very capable card with excellent cooling. I installed it in a mini-itx case for use as a portable Windows VR gaming system. My kids have been playing VR games for hours, this EVGA 30-series card handles it just fine. (Mine did not come with the red “clown lips” — it’s all black).

Great GPU with high buid quality

Better price except for the FE copy (if you can get one from BestBuy), effective heat dissipation, metal back plate, and generous warranty term with flexibility to buy extra years. We had a 1080Ti never disappointed us. Hopefully this copy will be good with us for another 3-5 five years!

But if you can, you really get the most bang for your buck (except for the FE). It can run 1440p pretty well, and can even dip into 4K with some game setting adjustments. But if you are just a casual player that runs on 1080, this GPU gets flying colors. Fans are not that loud for the power it outputs.

This card also looks very nice I recommend the one with the black detail because it fits better in most cases that are black even if you have a red theme. Overall this card was a worth while purchase in my case.
