I love this graphics card! I used this for my new upgraded PC and the difference from a gtx 1070 to this GPU is incredible! Highly would recommend and you could also install software to overclock the card if you want to push its performance. Been using this for a few months now, so I can finally give it a review!

Bought this yesterday and so far so good. the first 2070 was an asus one and i bought it online it lasted twenty minutes before getting the dreaded space invaders artifacts. before that i bought a rx5700xt online and kept getting black screens and crashes to desktop. so i thought i,d give the 2070 super another chance and it,s working well(hopoefully it,ll last me for many years)! this model comes with two games from evga deliver us the moon and grip a car combat game. any freebees make the price much better too swallow. the reason for the four stars is the ungodly high price nvidia is charging for theyre graphics cards.

This card is one of the better priced RTX 2070 Supers from a trusted brand. The fans on the card are quiet even under load which help prevent noise distractions and will even stop spinning if the card isn't being utilized for even more silence. Installation was simple if you've installed a GPU before. Do keep in mind that there were NO additional cables such as molex to PCI etc. This does take up THREE PCI back plate slots so also keep that in mind when before buying. The EVGA Precision software isn't the best compared to others but it does allow you to change the RGB lighting on the card as well as other options and features. I recommend using it to adjust RGB while using another GPU overclocking software of your choice for the actual overclocking itself. Performance wise this has been great on my 1080p 144hz needs. My previous card (now dead) was a GTX 1080 and this tends to lock to 144 FPS a lot easier while allowing me to keep the settings high. 4K performance is great too but there will be some games where you will have to lower a few performance inducing settings to achieve 4K 60FPS. If you're lucky, the game could support the DLSS feature exclusive to RTX cards which helps immensely with 4K performance.

This triple slot card is huge, but that makes it really quiet. I never see this go past 70C on stock clocks, haven’t tried overclocking it yet. When idle the fans don’t spin at all. Setup was great and everything just works. It was a massive upgrade from my Radeon 580. Also the drivers are much more stable than AMD in my experience. I’ve been using it for 4K 60fps and I’m able to run most games at near ultra settings, maybe having to tweak a couple things down, but still I’m super happy with it. Great value for the money. I paired it with a Ryzen 7 2700x.

Best bang for your buck GPU?

Using this card in my first PC build, and I chose this over the 5700 XT and 2080 Super for a few reasons. I chose this over the 5700 XT because it has as good or slightly better performance, ray tracing, and the 5700 XT has a known history of driver issues. This to me is what made the 2070 Super worth the extra cost. I chose it over the 2080 Super because it's $200+ cheaper and you're only sacrificing like 10-15 FPS, which in my opinion you really can't discern by eye unless you're running a benchmark program, and you could overclock it to get the base performance of the 2080 Super. It also runs considerably cooler. I might sell this card later this year when the new GPUs are released, but I think it's maybe the best bang for your buck with the current cards on the market and will do everything you need. It's probably not the card you want for a true 4k experience, but spending $700 or more more of 2080 TI isn't worth it at this time, however it could be something more financially attainable on the next GPUs.

Had Best Buy install this card. I have the yearly Geek Squad membership so my install was no additional charge. The membership is not cheap but it's all inclusive for help, repairs and installation. Bought this card since the previous card this replaces was sold out. I always buy through my local store because I don't want to see another empty store like Sears or K-Mart closed. Anyway, please note that this card takes up three, yes three spaces on your motherboard. I have a full size case and board. Any compact tower may not have the room. THE CARD REQUIRES TWO POWER CONNECTIONS TOO. The power supply I have is a 75 watt Cooler Master Gold supply that has probably 6 different power harnesses to choose from. The tech had to use one of my other harnesses so I had to go grab my power supply box with all the other configurations from home. Now no problem with installing according to the tech. He also downloaded the latest drivers too. The card is terrific and I can set everything to Ultra without a problem. The card purchase includes Call Of Duty Modern Warefare download when available in late October. This game has Ray Tracing which there are few games for now but should be more in 2020. I have been playing Battlefield 4 and saw much more detail and noticed distant movements of players while being a sniper. My only limitation is now my monitor because on the refresh rate of only 60hz. Much more expense monitors go up to 244hz but those are in the $1000.00 range. No thank you but when my monitor breaks then I will probably go to a 144hz in a couple of years from now depending on costs. I know this isn't a cheap card but the 2070 card is just a dumbed down 2080 chipset. Unless you have a very high refresh rate monitor you really don't get all that the 2070 card can do. Go buy the card but don't tell the wife because she will NOT understand unless she is a gamer too. Now it's time to post my EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked card on Ebay. Important to register the card with EVGA and they also offer extended warranty options too. Best Buy can offer them too so compare your options. GO OUT AND BUY THAT CARD ALREADY! Thanks for reading my review.

This card runs pretty cool temperatures. Rgb is a bonus for sure, only wish we could change the speed of the rgb but that could change with software. However, Beware if you have a small case this is a thick card and may not have good clearance and air flow. This card runs 1440p max settings no problem for me. Either way this is a great card and runs well. I would recommend if you can afford it.

This GPU has absolutely no issues running any game I have thrown at it. I have tried 1080p 144Hz, 4K 60Hz. It can do pretty much everything. It does get a little loud under load and it is a huge card. But it stays very cool during intense gaming sessions and the RGB customizability is a nice touch.

The card has 8GB of vRAM and it's fully robust. Does everything I need and more. When my games used to freeze for a second or two every 10 seconds on a 2GB nVidia card, well it no longer does with this baby! It's a large card and takes up two slots but so do all of the other new cards on the market. This card in particular is not being supported by a lot of water-cooled system manufacturers like the 2080 Ti is, but that's okay. No issues thus far on cooling. I've tried throwing a lot of gaming and graphic design work in Adobe CC and still I do not hear the fans kick on. I believe 1 fan of the 2 kicked on one time for about 5 mins and went off because it didn't need to be on. I'm very pleased with the performance of this card. It's now time to upgrade my motherboard, processor, RAM, and power supply to match the output of this card.

This thing runs everything I’ve thrown at it. I went into evga’s x1 software to set a fan curve and make sure it runs a cooler then stock settings. Either way I can hardly hear it. Not sure about all the complaints about noises and coil whine. It pumps out a lot and takes a beating so it’s gonna make some noises. I believe some people are just too picky. By far the best gpu I’ve ever owned. All metal backplate is a nice touch. Something that I’ve always had to install myself after the fact. RGB is controlled by my Gigabyte motherboard with no problems. It is a big card. Thickness is almost 3 slots so make sure you have enough space before purchasing. Otherwise enjoy!

Bought this to step up to a 3080 since it has been next to impossible to find one. This succeeded my 2060 super which I had sold. Keeps up with all of the games in my steam library between 70-100 FPS so I cannot complain at all. Silent fan mode is definitely an added benefit if you enjoy quiet PCs. Pros: Quiet keeps up with every game I own including new AAA games. X1 precision software is easy to use. Cons: Price - If I was buying this outright and not stepping up for a 3080 I would be deterred by the price as it does not have much difference from other AIBs or the FE. Size: This card is triple slot which eliminates a PCIe slot that could be used on the motherboard for expansion cards.

Card is pretty big so make sure you have enough room. Takes 3 slots on mobo. Almost did not get this beast in for it was pressing on sata cable connections.Had to install at an angle. Temps don't ever go over 70c with firestrike or timespy benchmarks. Came from a gtx 1080FE and still there is about a 30% difference in benchmarks. Highly recommend

The extra beefy cooler on this card makes it run cool and quiet. On idle the fans almost never spin making it silent until the horsepower is needed and even then, i have heard no coil whine. I have this card paired with a Ryzen 7 2700 OC'd to 3.9GHz and I have 0 problems playing all my games at 1440p ultra. And games using DLSS 2.0 and Ray Tracing are no problem to run at acceptable frame rates... can't wait to get Cyberpunk 2077 up and running on this bad boy.

I originally had gotten the MSI Ventus version of the 2070 super, but that card just got way too hot and was having freezing issues. Switching to this card, it is significantly thicker and longer, but with its thickness it runs way cooler (Around 55-65c full load, 30-35c idling), and with the tiny poor airflow Alienware Aurora R8 case I have, that is a huge plus. It runs quiet with minimal noise and plays anything at 1080p (And I would imagine 1440p) flawlessly. Highly recommend this card.
