I'm not a big fan of the horror genre especially one involving demonic entities, but wow! Not only would I sayThis movie is excellent, but I'll go a step further and say it's a perfect horror film. This movie impressed me. I saw it in theaters after constantly hearing how good it was, and I was happy and shocked and how scary this movie was without a lot of sudden jumpscares. This movie is all about atmosphere and setting. So if you're new to the horror genre or not a fan of it, I say give this one a shot.

i really enjoyed this newest installment for certain factors, first being the errie, broke down enviorment they chose for the film which gave the film its sense of dread and horror back. loved they used a actually family angle with kids cause it made you feel more sorry and sympthatic for these characters. love the usage of gore and blood in this as well, also the nostalgia with certain scenes as callbacks from other films here and there like the shining for example with the elevator scene with the blood

The evil dead franchise is one that I enjoy and this new introduction is just as good even if Ash isn't in it and has changed settings which is a good call. It's more darker than the others a bit scary than other films in the series. Definitely check it out.

Great Movie, so happy to own a physical copy to complete my collection of Evil Dead. A little too much CGI, and enjoyed Fede Alvarez's film from 2013 a lil' more but won't say it's not worth less than 5 stars.

If you're a fan of the Evil Dead, you'll enjoy this movie. It does its own thing, but it is still true to the spirit of the Evil Dead. Alyssa Sutherland is incredible.

It was a great set and a great movie when I saw it in theaters when it got released before I got it on Blu-ray and I'm looking forward to watch this scary movie over and over again

Another entry in the world of EVIL DEAD all taking place in a run down soon to be torn down apartment . The Book of The Dead ( another one ) is discovered and all hell ( lieterall ) is unleashed . Gory wild bleak and sad . A fine entry in the realm of this series!

This is an awesome addition to the franchise. It stays tru to the story it has built but brings something new to the table.

I'm a big fan of evil dead films but unfortunately Bruce Campbell is not in this film. But it has a good spin totally different from all the original Evil Dead films. I recommend watching it if you're a fan of Evil Dead films
