She was not able to use the firestick or google tv remote I got her. The Roku remote had larger buttons which was much easier for her to see and use. Also, the user interface had larger box-like icons which was easier to move around and navigate. I was never really a fan of Roku because they use to be slow and clunky…but with the latest models, the processor and speed are much better than previous versions. I would recommend this model (especially for the older people).

Best Roku this year!

Helpful for older tvs

I would highly recommend this device
