I bought one for my home and another for my in laws. We love using it to call them and other family members at this same time. My son tends to love it even more because he can watch his shows on it also. I plan on purchasing another for my parents even though they live close by.

Very handy device that helps us stay in touch with the children and grandchildren even when we don't have time to take those Iong drives to all three of our kids homes. We can contact one or all on a group video call. My wife said it was absolutely a great purchase so you know the old saying happy wife happy life.

The picture in the screen on this is very good but with no options and no apps to use with this device would not before everyone for sure have to be able to put up with Facebook if you're a big Facebook user you might use this a lot but I have not used it hardly any because of no are apps or other options so for somebody like me I would not recommend this but if your Facebook user yes

Acquired this for my Mom....She recently had Heart surgery at 88 Years young.....SHE IS DOING WELL.....This unit gave our family peace of mind being able to See Her and talk to Her...Wonderful Technology......Only Purchased 1 Unit and our other devices worked with it just fine....The A.I. Camera is Sweet...

The Portal was our Christmas gift to us and our adult children and their families. We are spread across several states. Using the portal with family has been great especially with toddler grandchildren. Family members use it with each other as well. It has more than met my expectations. I would highly recommend it.

I was not sure about buying this device. Now I cannot live without it. I am now able to sit at my dinner table, watch television and make video calls as well. It has voice recognition by Alexa and the native portal application. It functions as an Echo with added features.

I have been using this since Christmas. I bought one for myself and my parents. It is very nice to say, "Alexa" "Call Mom" and there she is. Much better than facetime because the screen is so much larger. You can also talk hands free and move around a little. Love it.

I have used for longer than one month, and I liked it so far. I has so many feature, apart from having an amazing camera that focus me everywhere I walk within the area it is located, it can be also used as digital frame showing all your facebooks pics. It also connects to Alexa and take voice commands, show you the daily news, weather reports, and music apps.

I picked up a pair of portals for family this year. I gave my parents one and my sister (who has 6 kids) one. The minute people recognized what it was they had to set them up and test them. My parents live in Florida and my sister in NY, so this is a way to let the grandkids keep even more in touch.

We were looking through all the different options out there and we decided on this one due to the ability to connect with Facebook users (as that tends to be the borm in our family)... however a few of the things advertised (like kitchen help, etc) we’ve yet to figure out how to do it.. and we’ve tried everything... overall happy with our choice but it could be better...

This has made our hearts happy because now I feel like I’m right next to my daughter and new baby granddaughter each and everyday!! Now when my granddaughter wants to see nana she feels like I’m there with here!! I absolutely recommend this to people who want to keep close to your loved ones!!!

So this is a great product I bought it for my Mom because I was moving out of state and wanted to have a better way to stay in touch. Setting the Portal up was easy for me and for the first few weeks after i moved it worked great. But if you give this as a gift to someone who is not computer savey then your going to have an issue. Power went out and the portal turned off. now when my Mom turns it back on it says that the microphone and camera are off and again if the person trying to use it is not computer/smartphone literate then the portal now becomes a paper weight until you can get family or a friend who at least understands smartphones to set it up again. The worst part is no manual with illustrations in the box. My mom can read and follow instructions very well but without something visual trying to explain over the phone is very difficult. I will say when it is working it is amazing. but when it is not set up its a waste and a frustration.

This Portal is perfect for Grandparents who want to see their grandkids weather near or far, and I love the story telling feature! Screen is a good size, and the photos rotating through while you’re not using it otherwise is awesome! Love it and have recommended to friends!!

I love the Facebook Portal with Alexa and Video Calling. I love the way it keeps me in focus and in frame as I move around the room while Video Calling with friends and family. I only wish that my friends and family also owned one. Buy it you will love it and so will your friends.

Removed the irritations and difficulties of trying to video chat regularly with family using phones and tablets. No more limited visibility, having to sit still and close while holding up our devices, and less annoying background sounds. Love the slide show & Spotify.

We bought two! Perfect way to stay in touch with family- in particular my disabled and bed ridden daughter who lives at a distance. Allows us to see one another and have regular and meaningful visits. Highly recommend this product which also brings Alexa along as an added bonus!

I purchased three (3) portals so my parents in their 80's and ourselves could be literally in the delivery room with our daughter on the other side of the US. I was a little skeptical but I must say this is probably one of the best investments I've made in a while.
