Customers consistently note the extensive gameplay and large map as significant strengths of Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition, with many praising the opportunities for exploration in the open world and online play. However, a recurring concern revolves around the presence of technical issues, including bugs and occasional crashes affecting server stability. Some players also express disappointment with the game's narrative, finding it lacking in comparison to previous installments. The overall experience appears to be a mixed bag, with substantial playtime balanced against technical shortcomings and narrative weaknesses.

While Bethesda has confirmed they will continue to support the game, their inexperience with always online games shine through. While there is potential, it will be decisive. Some will like it. Some will hate it. As of the state of right now, it needs help.

I've really enjoyed the new take on the persistent Fallout world. While it's not perfect, there are so many things to enjoy. If you're a Fallout fan, this is a great purchase.

Fallout is one of my favorite games. But this one was a little disappointing. Worth playing but not as fun as previous games in the series.

Okay game, requires hours and hours of game patches before you can play. Game has a massive load of glitches. Randomly you’ll be kicked off line in game play. Overall the game is essentially your typical fallout game.

This game was released way too soon. It lacks any engaging story elements, is online only, suffers from performance issues, and is overall fairly boring due to lack engaging content within the game. Bethesda should have sat on this one for another year or more to finish fleshing it out instead of going for a cash grab.
I would not recommend purchasing this game until it has been further patched an improved.

Haven't had any issues with this yet and it plays just like a fallout game except it's. A multi-player experience which is exactly as advertised.

If you thought that Fallout 4 was huge as a game. This one is even bigger. The world is huge and tons of places and things to explore. There is really no comparison to the previous Fallout 4. Of course, at launch there were some issue with software and gameplay. Due to the recent update. They seems to fix those and gives more accessibility to the game. Especially for the online option. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed the last one.

There has been a lot of fussing and crying over this game. How ever it’s a really good game if you like to explore massive worlds with friends.

Nice map. Terrible game. Would have been a GREAT single player game but they left out the NPC's and bogged you down with requirements such as CONSTANTLY needing to find food, water, meds...what was an optional play style in other games. And to make matters worse frustrated PVP players find the need to grief other players that just want to do quests (most of which are poorly set up). Nothing like someone jumping in front of you while crafting or throwing grenades at you when you ignore their antics. So if it's just about the game take a pass on this.

I’ve always been a fan of all the fallout games but 76 just seems like it was rushed. The concept sounded great at first but there are so many glitches that it takes away from the game.

This game definitely has problems but it is being unfairly ganged up on. I have not had any server issues in 20 hours and dont miss the npcs. The worst part is the gimped vats system.

Not at all what I thought the game was going to be. I love fallout but 76 is completely different than fallout 4. There's not really a story to it, or side missions.

As an avid Bethesda fan, I was excited to get my hands on the latest version of Fallout.
When I first installed the game, I had to download 50 GBs of game data. I was frustrated, but moved past it.
When I started the game, I started having issues from the jump. I have tried to be patient, but the bugs made the initial experience a negative one. Add on that a story which needed more planning, I am disappointed in what I bought.
I will no longer be pre-ordering games from Bethesda.
