Quality game with engrossing stories and characters. Takes the good from Fallout 3 and mixes it with a bit more of what made the classics so good. Hopefully if there's a Fallout "5", it will steer away from the Fallout 4 formula.

Very good game, and fun follow-up to Fallout 3. Very interesting to see the world of Fallout from the perspective of the US west coast.

The FallOut story continues its winning approach with New Vegas. Many moons ago I was playing Fallout 3 for more hours than I would care to admit when New Vegas came out. I was still well into FallOut 3 and didn't want to play this game until I was completely done with it. However, when I was finished other games came out and this one got lost in the sauce. Years later, Xbox One finally made it backward compatible and I quickly picked up a copy. However, history was repeating itself again since I am currently playing Fallout 4. But at least now I know I will have a larger window of time to get this game in. The FallOut story is awesome! If you haven't tried it yet I would suggest getting Fallout 3, New Vegas, and then the most recent Fallout 4. Those three game should keep you preoccupied for more than 6 months!

The Fallout series has always been near and dear to me personally as it has been for many since Fallout 3 and for fewer still since 1 and 2 due to the fact that it did a lot to bring true role playing into video games without becoming an overbearing affair. As Fallout 4 and then Fallout 76 have served as somewhat of a regression in this regard Fallout New Vegas remains as the high water mark for the series. If you skipped out on this back when it released but have been a Fallout fan looking for what's next, look no further but rather look back and pick this one up. It will not disappoint in the stories it tells, the freedom in player choice, and the gameplay mechanics therein.

Even better than Fallout 3, and that’s saying something. Was great on Xbox360, and runs even better on Xbox Series X with an awesome FPS boost.
