New characters in old roles however they do work. A very unexpected plot line with lots of twists and turns. If you are a Harry Potter fan this is a must see. As a stand alone this doesn't really work without the rest of the Harry Potter universe.

I hope they make more of this series, I like it when these world building genres go back and fill in back story...thats what the fantastic beasts stories do for Harry Potter

Well, I do not like the fact that Bluray, DVD, Digital is now &25.00 instead of &20.00... But that is a different story... I think that this was better than the second one, but, of course, not as good as the first... So, if you have the first two you need this one...

It's a fine movie. I purchased it to keep my collection of the pre Harry Potter series complete. This movie has Mik Mikkleson instead of Johnny Depp.

Great movie, but you need to watch Fantastic Beasts and all of the other Harry Potter movies BEFORE watching this one to be able to understand this story.

Basically a good continuation of the saga. Disappointing that Depp wasn't able to reprise his role for continuity's sake. Mads Mikkelsen does a great job but his take is quite different from the more madcap Depp version.

I very much enjoyed watching this movie. I saw it 3X in the theater and looked forward to it coming out on Blu Ray. It's a very good continuation of the Fantastic Beasts series

Excellent action prequel movie to Harry Potter and combines all the fun of Fantastic Beasts and ties up lots of loose ends from the previous movie.

Need the prequel to Harry Potter to keep the adventure going. Great companion to the original series, but certainly stands well on its own. Entertaining for all ages.

Of course, being a World of Wizardry fan, I had to get this to add to the collection. It is fun to watch the series with my grandchildren.

Enjoyed this one as I did the other fantastic beast movies, though the introduction of the younger Hogwarts characters made this one a bit more enjoyable.

This DVD is a gift and will be a great addition to his collection. Who doesn't like the Harry Potter movies; they are all great!

I saw the movie in the theater so wanted it because the movie was good. Also, I wanted it to complete my series of the Fantastic Beasts.

I didn't pay enough attention. Had to go back through to catch up with the story. Fyi... there are better times to multi-task. Wonder how it would have been with J.D. instead

Missed it in the theater, very happy with the quick release date. Family enjoyed the movie, lots of backstory to the Harry Potter world.

Great film that continues the great story. I thought they did a great job of continuing the story of the prequel to Harry Potter

I love all the movies that pertain to Harry Potter and that universe. This was my favorite of the Fantastic Beasts Trilogy.

Decent movie, got it on sale for black friday. Recommend to those that enjoy this franchise/wizarding world
