It's not the best movie but I already knew this. I'm a lifelong fan of the FF and this movie was at an unbeatable price, so I enjoyed it nonetheless.

If you are a fan of Fantastic 4 you'll like this. I like all super hero movies.

This is a reboot that shouldn't have happened. Instead of a reboot it seemed like a remake of the othe Fantastic Four movie, but not a very good one.

But, it's NOT the DVD's fault! Nor are the actors to blame. It's all the director Josh Trank's fault! He took a perfectly good concept and turned into this mess. Kate Mara's Susan Storm/Invisible Woman is your stereotypical genius Goth chick who blends into the background. Miles Teller's Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic is your focused ultra-nerd, not the smartest man in the entire Marvel Universe! Jamie Bell's Ben Grimm/the Thing is nothing more than the typical muscled jock-turned-killing-machine. And Toby Kebbell's Victor von Doom is nothing more than a burnout case mashed up with a Kurt Cobain attitude who's riffing the jealousy of Antonio Salieri (from "Amadeus"). He also proclaimed that his casting of Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/the Human Torch was a "revolutionarily bold" choice. Uh...wrong. He's wasted here. Jordan's character is almost stereotypical - the hot-headed (pun intended, I'm sure) African-American guy with street cred & bad attitude. Had Mr. Trank TRULY wanted to be "revolutionary," he should've cast Jordan as Reed Richards! Imagine that! An African-American actor portraying the Super-Genius?! Jordan's talents could've truly shone! That would've been EPIC! Instead, this movie is a trainwreck from start to finish. I bought this DVD for 2 reasons: 1. I have the other, BETTER FF movies already; 2. It was on sale.

Was not sure if I would like this movie because I watched the original but this is a good movie.

In my opinion, not the best adaptation of the Fantastic 4 comic, but is a reasonably entertaining movie, if just taken at face value.

No it's not a top notch MCU movie, but still good for what it is. Definitely worth the price.
