I feel like this movie deserves some more positive reviews. I know it was kind of a dull movie at times (due to there being little "superhero action") I liked how it gave more of a backstory to the team and more focus on them creating the technology to go to the place where they gain their powers. I am a big fan of the other Fantastic Four movies so I was excited to see how they were going to remake it. And I think this movie definitely set up a lot of different directions sequels go in. So despite all the negative reviews, if you're a fan of superhero movies, you should still check it out.

Not that bad of a movie, there shouldn't be THAT much hate for it. It has a good first act, a good second act, but a pretty clichéd third act that should have a better and longer battle. But overall it's not that bad.

Cliche, disjointed, lacking any real character development, and any other number of negative descriptive comments I could come up with. This was just overall a terrible movie. And while I would love to say that it's "Michael Bay-esque" with a visual aspect that could make up for the horrible writing, it's not. Much of the special effects look like this movie was made back in 2002. And poorly even for then. One "redeeming" quality I would probably give it is that you can at least tell that the actors tried. (With the exception of Dr. Doom.) So I would not blame the failure on a poor performance from most of them. Though honestly, even that wasn't stellar. But I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and blame the material. Look for this one in the Razzies.

Quality wise this was an ok movie on 4k. Was not too amazed by the looks of it but some parts were pretty good looking to say. The story is ok just cut a little short, original felt more thought over.

I was really excited about this new Fantastic Four movie because of the actors in it however I have to say it wasn't the best Fantastic Four movie they've made. It was an okay movie but not one I'll probably watch again. I would have been better off renting it instead of purchasing it.

After reading reviews from the major movie & best buy website, I had very low expectation on this movie. The first 2 fantastic four movies were a flop, but to my surprise this movie was a bit better. I felt movie critics were a bit harsh on this one. I kinda enjoyed this movie.

It's okay. If you are into the SCI FI setup of Fantastic Four you will realize that the "reboot" wasn't so well-accepted by the Marvel fans. The storyline of Johnny Storm was strange and the recast of the chracter did not sit well with my roomie, who is a Marvel fanatic.

If you are a fan of the Fantastic Four, this movie is not for you. The film barely manages a passing resemblance to the FF, with none of it's heart & soul intact, let alone an actual team of superheroes. I don't blame the actors & actresses involved; they did what they could with horrendous writing, direction, & studio interference. The outcome is a dark, depressing, illogical mess. And it will frighten your children.

An okay movie that's not great nor bad. It has some pretty intense scenes that make it better,but also has scenes like the final battle, that could of been much better.

Good movie, however the 4k version could use a bit of an uplift. Definitely not the Martian (best 4k movie out so far) but a good watch none the less.

If you a comic book fan, you will find this movie does a good job of portraying the heroes powers. Love the steel book case Best Buy offers.

I just bought this movie to complete my collection i got it for a good price so i dont regret it! The first hour of the movie its interesting but then the second and third act was bad!

New cast. Not as good as previous movies but very watchable especially if you have not seen previous makes.

If anything, it looks great in hi-def. plus the F4 franchise was all that fantastic anyway... But as a Marvel blu ray collector, it's a must-have.

So much more could have been done to this movie. They had the pieces to make this movie great, they just didn't use them.

Holy god, is this movie a trainwreck. The trailers for the film looked so promising, and looked as though Fox would be able to take the F4 franchise in the route it needed to go, to have proper directing and actors, and have the same fun tone as the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. But Fox ruined this movie by pushing the dark theme on a fun comic book story. The movie's opening was ok at best, but marketed as an action film, there is literally one action scene, and that is the 10 minute finale fight with Dr. Doom. And even that was awful. The actors honestly tried their best to work with the script and directing they were given, but from what I have heard, the studio Fox tampered the film by forcing certain elements into the film, which bogged down the movie. The pacing of the film is so bad that the scenes from when they get their powers to the boring finale are so boring that I wanted to leave the theater mid way through it. In conclusion, the film had promising advertising, but the film failed so hard. Fox, give the rights back to Marvel Studios, just stick to X-Men movies, it's the only Marvel property you haven't completely ruined.

I had heard about the bad reviews film was getting and choose not to see this movie in the theatre. Great decision. As a comic book fan and Steelbook collector, I already knew that I was going to purchase the Blu-ray regardless. After watching I am so glad that I limited my money spent on this film to just this purchase. MEH.... I know this is a reboot and Fox was hoping to start a new franchise and possibly have a shared universe with the X-Men movies but I just cannot get into it. It feels like a waste of Michael B. Jordan's talent and Kate Mara as Sue Storm just did not do it for me. Mara is a much better actress that I saw onscreeen. Honesty, it feels as if the actors did have a great story to work with. Now the Steelbook itself it great. I love it's cover and inside and seems to represent the movie well. A must have for a comic collector and good addition to a Steelbook collection. I swear some of these other reviewers are giving it a high rating just to be funny. Not something I would recommend to anyone else. Not sure where Fox goes from here. I say give the property back to Marvel.

This is NOT Fantastic4! Best Buy please add a ZERO STAR option. This is Chronicle on Steroids. I know they had make this movie so they wouldn't lose licensing to Marvel but AT LEAST hire a decent director. I am so glad they cancelled part2 and possibly rights get pushed back to Marvel in time for Infinity Wars

The Fantastic Four should not have been re-booted so soon after the the original and the Rise of The Silver Surfer.
