I bought this game on sale with my GCU and didn't have to pay very much, so I didn't have the biggest expectations to be honest. But I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy this game. Story wise, the best I can describe is you are working with a group of people in a fictional country, with kind of a rain forest setting, and are trying to liberate them from a terrorist/communist group. Free outposts, free hostages, liberate propaganda radio towers, etc. The navigation system has a very GTA feel, with the minimap and waypoints. This isn't a bad thing, and works very well. You always know where you want to go next. But the game is far from linear. Want to go hunt wild animals for skins to use for crafting? Do it, if you don't feel like doing the standard missions. Or go free a bell tower, or find a side mission, or find a random karma event while wandering around. There is always something to do. Basically, I recommend this game for everyone. I can't believe I waited this long, the game truly is amazing.

The mechanics of this game are very like Far Cry 3, which is fine by me because I loved Far Cry 3. Graphics are much improved and the scenery (Himalayas) is beautiful. Game runs smooth and there are a lot of things to do in the open world environment such as taking over enemy posts, helping out allys, hunting for wild animals, etc. Lots of weapons to chose from and places to explore.

This game is amazing, not only are the graphics amazing but the ability to customize your weapons and free roam the world, either doing missions, side missions or merely hunting animals for materials it is never dull. The story line is entertaining and fun, the game can be played even after completion and still give you a feeling of something new to come. Highly recommend this game !

love this game. the story is good and the game play is smooth and also love that there is a lot to do in the game so u wont finish in a weekend. you can take your time and play when you want but u will get sucked in lol

The game is a welcome twist to the Far Cry series and shooters in general. It's a little slow in the very beginning but gets more interesting as the game progresses with tougher missions and more of the upgraded weapons that become available. It does take some time to make progress but it does allow one to take in the beauty of the land which there is quite a bit of to traverse. The graphics are very good and can be beautiful at times, especially in some of the night scenes where there are campfires in the villages. Be prepared to spend some time with the game because there is a lot to do but it is enjoyable for the most part. The graphics on the XBOX ONE version is very similar to the PS4 and runs very smoothly.

This game is great. The story and open world make it better. I have played the other games in the Far Cry series and this by far has the best graphics.

This game is open world awesomeness. Best part is, you can co-op with a friend in the open world. Graphics are great, story is cool. I love this game.

i picked this game on sale and find it very entertaining. its loaded with side missions and tons of action. i highly recommend.

This is one of the best games that have come out in the last few years. The story is great, the music and dialog are great, and the action is intense. About the only down side to this game is that there isn't a tutorial for some of the more advanced things that you can do (like crafting health and hunting shots) and that the dialog on the radio of cars can be kind of repetitive at times (but still funny). To anyone that's on the fence about the game, just buy it. You can thank me later.

A great experience playing Far Cry 3 is was ultimately drew me in for this next installment of the series. If you enjoyed Far Cry 3, you will not be disappointed. There is a new massive, open world that is waiting for you to explore and I have had a blast doing that so far. Even if you haven't played any of the previous Far Cry games, this is the one to try. There is so much to do and if you find enjoyment in open world shooting games, go pick up a copy of this game for yourself!

Farcry 4 is a great game if you are looking for an open sandbox/cinematic experience. The story and cutscenes are fascinating, and the world is breathtaking. You can move through the story quickly or take the time to find all the collectibles the game has to offer. While the core physics haven't changed much since the third installment, there are refinements that polish the action. If you are a Farcry fan or new to the series, this game is definitely worth a playthrough.

I REALLY ENJOY THIS GAME, REALISTIC GRAPHICS, GREAT INTERESTING STORY, A LITTLE HARD ONE, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

Ok bought this game after one of my buddies purchased it one day. It kinda has a strange story to it but ive greatly enjoyed it. Campaign missions and side missions! Freedom to run anywhere on the map. They have wild animals that can attack you haha. Great buy if you enjoy a good first person shooter that your character can get better as well. I buy alot of games and ive enjoyed this game the most! Treasure chests and caves also!!

This game is open world for the most part once you cross from the opening mission. It has excellent gameplay. Many weapons, vehicles, (on land, water, and air) to choose from. You have to be aware of your environment. Animals will attack, even in the water. So many side missons that you can explore. The graphics could be better but what the game lacks for smooth textures is completely made up in overall gameplay enjoyment.

The game is FULL of content and side missions. Graphics and story are great. Very action packed game

This is one of the best free roaming games I have ever played. I don’t like repeating something over and over in order to move forward in a game. Don’t like a Far Cry 4 mission you’re in select end it and your back to the start. Plenty of options and the great graphics make this fantastic. Not a fan of the load time between some screens and my Xbox One locked up a few times.

I think this is a really fun game and interesting story line. I am tired af games that I end up beating in 2 or 3 days. There are tons of missions and side missions to be completed. You have the freedom to move allover and the game will change depending on which missions you choose to take. There are a couple of glitches in the game but nothing bad so far.

The game is great. fun stealth or full frontal assault options. you have some fun vehicles to play around with and it will take you hours to get 100% completion. the weapons are fun and the animal hunting/fighting is always good in the far cry games. you can fly through it or take your time and find everything out there. like assassins creed for the amount of items you can find around the map.
