This game definitely owns up to the series with a great installment that does its predecessor proud. The game heavily relies on the game play and play style of Far Cry 3 but with some nice additional touches. They kept to what made Far Cry 3 a great game but polished it up with some additional play style. Much easier to scale up and down mountains with the rock climbing and early access to wing suit which is well needed to navigate the mountainous region. A very spiritual and well made story that ties in with the charming culture of Kyrat. A good story makes for a great play and their is not shortage to activities and collectibles with fascinating backgrounds tying you deeper into the game. I am well pleased especially the introduction of mounting elephants. Glad I picked up a copy.

To much fun, Epic battles, great weapons, really fun game play

I never played a Far Cry game before so I didn't know what to expect. The mechanics are fluid, driving is smooth, the diversity in missions and gameplay approaches are good enough, though not always. Most importantly, it's a fun game without a serious story or interesting characters, but the gameplay more than makes up for its faults.

Though the location is different, FC4 is basically the same as FC3, and that's perfectly fine - both are excellent open-world games, and FC4 has lots more to do. Ride an elephant and slam baddies? Sure! Fly a gyrocopter and use a grenade launcher to liberate enemy camps? Why not. Tasks are slightly redundant, but fun nonetheless.

My first time playing a Far Cry game and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find the game a lot of fun to play. A large landscape to explore and plenty of missions. The Coop is a great time, but would like to see the Coop involve 4 players and be able to do all of the campaign. Graphics and Sound are great on the XBox One. A game that will keep you busy for awhile!!

Rarely do I want to complete a game to 100%, especially a game of this size. I've spent over 60 very happy hours in this game, and I still enjoy it. Multiplayer battles aren't very fun, but co-op with a buddy is nice (though only one of you can progress on campaign at a time.. the secondary player only gets gold and loot)

Awesome story and there is a lot to do even after the story is over great game

This is an open world game and is crazy so far. Im playing a few games right now so haven't gotten much into this one but so far it seems like a very big game that will take quite some time to complete which is what I like. You get your moneys worth and this game goes on sale a lot so pick it up when its cheap.

Far Cry 4 is a great game. Not only is it one of the best entries in the series, if not the best, it also has a decent story and great himalayan-esque setting. Many people may write it off as being to similar to Far Cry 3, but that's not true. Far Cry 4 has enough to stand on its own. Couple that with the fact that it has been on sale for $30, and it is a "no brainer".

The story line is pretty good. It's starts out without wasting any time right into showing you what you are up against. The graphics make it very believable and gives for you to very quickly feel like your in the game. Love the fact that you can follow the story line and sometimes break off from that to do very fun and interesting missions. Great game over all!!

Far Cry 4 is fun, but I was a little bummed it's pretty much the same game as Far Cry 3, just in a new location with a few new vehicles and animals. Other than that, it's the same game. Not a bad thing, as Far Cry 3 was INSANELY good, but I just wish they had thought a little more outside the box is all. If you liked Far Cry 3, you'll like Far Cry 4 for sure!

This is not an extremely difficult game but it is a lot of fun to play.
