Very entertaining, interesting story and good gameplay

I have enjoyed the Far Cry Franchise since first Playing Far Cry 2 back in 2008. This Far Cry is by far the best game I've ever played. I know that is subjective and everyone has their own opinions but I have beaten the entire game 3 times now over the past 2 years and still really enjoy the gameplay, story, and setting being here in the US.

Great game but there are bugs *as with any game). Opened parachute and trapped under map (wait until you die and respawn), complete quest and then it remains on to do list but already completed and did not get rewards for it, arcade feature wont access in spots on the map, have to access if from the main menu, etc. Nothing that is a deal breaker, just frustrating. SPOILER: Worst part is being pulled out of a quest at odd random times and being forced to take part in the main story line quest. No way to know when it happens, it does and you cannot get out of it except by finishing it. The music on the Jacob Seed Only You quests can get extremely irritating when you have to beat in x number of seconds and die and have to start again with the same music. Great incentive to beat it and get the music "only you" to stop. Overall, the game is worth the money and I have enjoyed playing it . Well worth it even with the bugs, which you expect a few with new release games.

You know what to expect if you played FC 3 and 4. Great story with interesting villians, tons of side quests and upgrades. I was a little disappointed with the ending, but enjoyed the main game very much.

I really enjoy playing this game. I have a ton of fun with it. If you disliked Far Cry4, then this game will not be your cup of tea. If you liked the gameplay of 4, but not the location, then Far Cry 5 is for you. I liked Far Cry 4 and this game was even better to me. The Montana location was awesome. It's a ton of fun and very familiar to pick up and play. I think the variety of missions and the ability to hunt and fish really break this game up. I highly recommend this and I can't wait to play the season pass material as it looks fantastic

I was a huge fan of Far Cry 3, but when it came to Far Cry 4 I was just not up for doing the exact same thing in a different location. Primal never caught my attention, but I was excited for 5. I'm glad to say I was not disappointed. Ubisoft got rid of map progression being tied to climbing towers. In fact, they've made the whole game with a heavy emphasis on exploration. You have to keep an eye on your surroundings to hear rumors that'll lead you to a new quest or to a loot stash. Your map is filled in with information as you come across new locations, or by finding maps, magazines, or road signs during your adventures. The combat is as tight as ever, but overall it hasn't changed too much. The guns for hire system makes a return, but it has been fairly refined. You can hire random rebels, or specialists with unique skill sets. Mission structure is very non linear. After a short tutorial you're dropped into a massive map split into three main regions with their own boss. You can complete objectives in any region in whatever order you want, even hopping in and out of regions when you want a different pace. So far the story seems to be okay, nothing spectacular but personally enough to where I want to see how it all unfolds.

My very first Far Cry game, and i heard great things about previous Far Cry games. The editions has the season pass which you can also get Far Cry 3 classic edition by downloading from the ps store or Microsoft or steam or wherever platform u play it on. it is includes 3 fine prints only at best buy. The item is nice, steelbook case is awesome, probably the #1 reason to go for this edition is steel book case and season pass. Overall, the game is an open world adventure.

I was hesitant on buying this seeing how it looked pretty similar to the previous Far Cry games but man I was wrong! I mean don’t get me wrong it still has couple things similar to the previous games..but it just feels different. If you’ve played any Fry Cry game in the past, you’ll understand what I mean. Story is great and very intriguing, graphics are phenomenal and the best in the series, and the gameplay is very fun. Definitely one of the best games of 2018 so far.

Great game to keep yourself busy for hours. The game is huge open world type. There are so many things to do in the game it’s insane. I’ve played the game all the way through, and now just catching up on all the extra stuff, and I’m still hours away from completing. The graphics are beautiful and game play awesome. Like every game, please watch YouTube videos of this game and see if this game genre is right for you.

This is a must have, even if you’ve never played far cry before. Even though it’s rated M to keep it out of kids hands, parents please be aware, this is a very dark sadistic game which includes heavy language, strong violence, brain washing and torture happen a lot in the game. So please don’t buy this for your 12 year old kid.

The story is pretty good, gameplay, and the open world is fantastic!

I liked this game. I bought it more on a whim and thought it was worth the cost. The graphics are good, except when clipping or ghost riding npc's appear (enemies who float in seated position when they should be in a car.). The game could use balancing as enemies will die in 1 or 2 shots but animals, the inferno turkey, could take several reloads to kill. Multiple difficulty levels that do not affect achievements. I personally do play on hard mode and fire is a killer. Story is decent, predictable more often than not, but still decent. Look forward to the DLC's.

Fantastic game. Great gun play, great script and great fun.

It's basically farcry 4 with better gameplay. The story is decent but the forced segment with the sub-bosses is a bit ridiculous. Can be flying through the air in a plane when you reach the threshold of points to activate the segment and will get pulled out of the air. Overall though I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Great story and love the references to a lot of what a good part of the population is doing theses days (Facebook etc..) You won't be disappointed as the story is long, -many side missions and great graphics.

Awesome game. Fun gameplay with an intriguing storyline. They really made 2 player campaign co-op easy to get in and out of. Definitely worth it for fans of FPS and especially the far cry series.

this game is so much fun! and this time, takes place right here in the USA. its a very addicting game and you will not want to put down your controller. I definitely recommend this game!

The base game is amazing, but the Gold Edition brings a season pass that includes the remastered version of Far Cry 3 when it releases! Really, the best season pass I have seen to date!

So this Darcey is so much fun. It seems more open and even mission completion is more open than ever. Do it however you want! Graphics are great, and the story is cool too!

First Far cry game I have played excellent gameplay. Gold edition came with sweet steel book season pass and early access to far cry 3 classic. Would recommend 10/10.
