This was an amazing game and I was really sad to finish it!!! It had all the classic features of Farcry but the setting and story were just next level!! The ending....no words!!!!!!! Total BLISS!!!!!! You can't go wrong with this one!

Being a huge fan of the Far Cry series and having played all the installments, I can say that FC5 is the best so far. It's open world is huge and filled with fun/excitement and amazing graphics. Very realistic and having a dog (Boomer) follow you around was a GENIUS idea. :-)

The open world environment and stunning graphics are just a couple of the amazing facts about this game. There is so much to do and almost complete freedom to do it in any order. Fishing, hunting it’s all there! Absolutely am addicted to this installment of the Far Cry Franchise!!!

The game reminds me of FallOut, but so much better. You can play as a single player or co op. Single player has you going around the county on different missions, collecting items as you go. Defeating enemies along the way. Awesome open world with plenty of side missions.

Far Cry 5 is just fun, plain and simple. There are so many things to do in this game that you never get bored. The map is very large, the detail is beautiful, and your ways to take down the cultists are almost limitless. I am having a blast and would highly recommend this game!

There are 4 areas controlled by bosses that have different influences in those areas. It helps to keep things somewhat fresh as the world is pretty big, and as has been the thing with Ubisoft games now, there are a ton of big and little things to do. Things like side missions, destroying certain objects, liberating outposts, etc. The mechanics like shooting, driving, and exploring are solid. It looks great on a PS4 Pro. My issue is that even though there is a variety to the terrain, the game gets extremely repetitive. Sure there are a lot of things to do, but after a while, you realize that you're doing the same thing you've done many times before. It's a fun game, but probably not a good idea to try to 100% straight through. Take breaks and play other games in between and come back to this one. Also, the Multiplayer is horrible. The shooting mechanics do not transfer well to online Multiplayer.

The story is good an intense. I have died so many times, because I suck at FPS games. But the story line is great so far. I hate all the villains, I could see this actually happening in some areas of this country. It's pretty well done. I have not run into any of the glitches yet that this game was famous for, updates maybe?

Whether taking a stealth approach or going in guns blazing with friends/fangs for hire, there is much fun to be had in Hope County Montana. YMMV, but the glitches well documented online seldom occurred during my single player experience. Many will take issue with the endings, but that's nothing new for this series.

This is a great game if you liked 4. The control and play are very similar, with a few differences to get used to. The story line is mostly plausible. Get ready for some honky tonk style music though as it takes place in the back country of the United States.

If you’ve played any prior Ubisoft Farcry games, you know what to expect. If not, this is a great open world FPS, with missions, outposts to liberate, crafting etc. not drastically different from prior, but with a lot of content and a US setting for a change!

Far Cry has always been fun for the chaos you can spread through its open world, and Far Cry 5 is no different. However, this one I found to be far glitchier and have more hang ups in loading than previous installments. Plus, ending was pretty lame.

Definitely still feels like Far Cry, but with enough tweaks to the formula to make it fresh. I’m only about 1/3 of the way through the solo campaign but the story and characters are pretty good so far. Lots to do and lots of fun - time flies when I’m playing!

I love this game! I was hesitant at first however I decided to give it a try. The game is very in depth with its story line, and tons of fun to rid the town of the evil cult! Once I started I could not stop playing until I beat the game!

This isn't the best Far Cry game by any means, but it's still an incredibly fun game to play. It's story is unsettling and captivating, it's characters are fully realized, and it's gameplay is as fun as ever with plenty of side missions to keep you busy.

One of the more fun games I have played in a while. Mechanics are smooth and polished, game play with without glitches and the fights are really satisfying. Story is also surprisingly involved for a game like this. 5 stars!

This is my favorite Farcry yet! Best story and visuals in the entire franchise. Great gameplay and lots of replayability. Definitely need to check this one out if you're into shooters.

If you liked Far Cry 3 and 4, you'll love this as well. Gone are the tower climbs which is nice. Lots of new weapons and outfits, etc. Story gets a little religiously whacky but it doesn't ruin the game. Overall fun time so far.

For a game with somewhat heavy subject matter, the humor in this is incredible. (If you enjoy redneck banter, utilize Hurk and/or Sharky) The controls are smooth, and the visuals are stunning. Movement and combat are great, and most of the character deaths I've experienced are due to my own stupidity, or kicking a hornet's nest without planning an escape. The enemy AI can be a bit over-zealous, and enemies will react to silenced shots hitting a target, but they will not immediately identify your location. There are still patches coming out, which have caused some minor graphical glitches, but nothing game-breaking, at least for me.

For those who were a little disappointed with the Far Cry 4 story after Far Cry 3, do not worry as Far Cry 5 brings a compelling story, rich soundtrack, amazing graphics, and plenty of content to keep you playing for 50+ hours.

If you’ve ever played Far Cry you know what type of game you’re getting into. Lots of side missions, creative story, hunting missions, and a HUGE map. Sometimes you get lost doing side missions and things get repetitive.
