The len was sharp and very worth of the money. Its very good all arounds and excellent for my portrait set up. Couldn't be more happier with this purchase.

This is a must have for anyone who owns a Sony Alpha camera. This lens renders such beautiful images, especially portraits. Although its not your typical walk-around lens, I always carry it around since it's nice and compact (also well built), as it offers a different look and challenge.

This is on par as one of the highest value Sony full frame lenses out! It can easily run with the big dogs and is small and compact.

Don’t waste the extra money on the G lens or any other 85mm!! This lense is CRISP, even zooming in. The videos are GORGEOUS even in low light! Seriously, for this price, do not hesitate, this is the BEST 85 for this price!! I’m so surprised it doesn’t cost more with the powerful quality of this thing

If your looking for a perfect lense for portraits, this is it! After lots of research I decided on this 85mm and could not be more pleased. This 1.8 performs very well with nice Bokeh. I use it on my Sony a7iii and I love the results in low light!

Outstanding lens ! As clear and sharp as the more expensive lenses of the same size. Great for portraits! The colors and sharpness of this lens are truly amazing. The build quality,feel and weight are very good. Extremely solid but not too heavy.

I really like this 85mm f1.8 by Sony. Tact sharp and works well for shooting videos and portraits on my Sony A7Rii and . It's my go to for run and gun shooting. Although, it's not weather sealed, you can't go wrong this lens.

This is a very good alternative to the more expensive 85 mm lenses like gmasters and Batis . This is super sharp and won’t leave a dent in your wallet at the same time . Highly recommended if you want a bang for your buck lens at 85 mm

This was my first lens for Sony. I may say I'm truly impressed!! Everyone will say get the 1.4 lens, theoretically it's super rate I ever shoot at that f-stop. Do yourself a favor and get this lens for the great price it's listed at.

This is an amazing piece of glass. It holds its own with the Batis 85. One can argue that at its price its an incredible bargain. It performs beautifully and has provided me with a number of great portraits & street shots.

This lens creates some of the sharpest images in my portfolio. I'm very surprised at the quality of these images at this price. You will not regret making this purchase. The bokeh and separation is incredible.

We loved our 35mm sigma lens so when we bought this we didn’t know if we would be able to take the 35 off but this lens did not disappoint. The bokeh is so smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful 85mm ... AF is amazingly fast, eye AF with this works beautiful on the A7iii. Sharp and solid colors. Nice thick glass, good weight when shooting. Much better price than the G

Best lens for an 85mm at an affordable price. Almost has the same performance and sharpness to the more expensive G Master 85mm. Get this lens if your on a budget. Great for video as well.

I love the Bokeh this underated lens provides. It's Light weight and is a great duo with my Sony A7III.

It is not a heavy lens and is sharp. It is a better choice than spending a lot more for the other options that Sony has. It's a great lens to choose if you need a 85mm for Sony.

3 year anniversary with this lens w/ a7RIII, so it has been through the gauntlet. The quality to price on the prime lens is a no brainer. It takes extremely sharp portraits in all light and lightning fast indoors for sporting events with nice bokeh, mostly basketball for me, as long as you're shooting 1/2 of the court. I own the super sharp G Master lens 16-35 2.8, Tamron 28-70 2.8 and this prime right here is my go to for the money/memory maker portraits. Best value in the Sony line-up for what it gives you.

I got this for my portraits and boy am I happy with it, the shots come out so crisp it makes me to a double take. The bokeh fans will be happy with this one also.
