A must for Go-Pro-ers with Dogs!

I bought this as a gift for my dad for Father's Day, and he's used it a few times with our dog, Max. Max is not bothered wearing the harness, and was up to his usual shenanigans in the back yard while wearing Fetch. He even rolled around in the grass with it on, which made for a great video!

The clasp broke the first time we used. We never found the harness or GoPro again.

I put this on my medium sized dog who is pretty muscular and it fits her perfectly. She jumps falls and goes in the water and the harness still doesn't move.

Stays on and provides an interesting perspective

I've only run this with the back mount so far, but was very impressed with just how well it stayed on during a two-dog chase and frolic sequence. This provides a great monkey-riding-a-dog perspective. It's a rough, but fun ride, I've decided, and best when mounted on the back of the pursuer, rather than the back of the pursued. Some of the straps can become unhooked, if the rough-and-tumble gets excessive. However, there is enough redundancy to keep things secured and upright. A safety line to the camera mount also keeps the camera attached to the dog in the event that the coupling to the harness was not properly established.

    Awesome Product, within reason

I used this with my large 80-pound golden retriever. I did not have any problem with the harness slipping to the side as some have mentioned. This included times where the dog shook after coming out of the water. Did it move a slight bit, yes. But not enough that I had to adjust it. The camera used was a Hero5. The dog was retrieving toys in the ocean. With the Hero5’s electronic stabilization the video was as smooth as could be reasonably expected. A word of caution, insure that the piece that connects the camera to the harness is fully snapped in. I failed to do this when moving the camera to the front connection and lost the camera in the ocean. I didn’t take enough time to ensure it was secured; probably due to difficulties presented by the long fur of a golden retriever. This was my bad as I didn’t take proper precautions given that I was working in water. Don't know if this will go through, but here's the video: https://vimeo.com/285587664

So cool to watch the videos, make sure it's on tight though. Otherwise it falls to side and videos aren't clear.

    Not for super active dogs

I was super excited to buy this item, which ended up being priced matched (thank you Best Buy!). Brought it home and adjusted the harness on my dog/ put the GoPro on the dog; after running around for five minutes, the camera fell out even though it was originally snapped in! Not for Iditarod training, but it is great to see your best friend's point of view!

    Horrible design

I'm am an absolute Gopro fanatic and only buy authentic Gopro products. I must say that the Fetch is about the worst designed Gopro product that I've ever purchased. Why they wouldn't of used some type of Velcro instead of the hook system is beyond me. I placed it on my 95 lb. German Shepherd and it was constatnly moving and not staying upright on his back. Then I mounted it on his chest, and that was even worse. I took it back to Best Buy and ended up using my Gopro chesty mount and it actually worked better then the Fetch. Don't waste your time or money on this item.

The Go Pro Fetch Harness in black worked well and was easy to use. Just adjust the straps somewhat tight to your dog. The padding works well like a saddle for your dog. Great video !
