I installed this air purifier in a room of about 320 square feet and it did a great job to keep the air fresh and clean. The design is very well thought out. Installation was simple using the Filtrete Smart app. One error I noticed while using the phone app has to do with the pairing request. The app says open the back of the unit and get the six digit code from the device. However the pairing request says to enter 0000 or 1234 to pair the unit. It should say enter the six digit code. You should remove the plastic wrap on the filter before plugging it in; if you follow the quick start guide you may forget to do this. There is a ‘remove the plastic’ warning tag on the unit, but it is easy to miss. Operation was spot on. You will see a light underneath that changes colors to indicate the state of the air quality. It will show ‘green’ when you first begin using the unit. If you set fan speed as ‘auto’ the unit will sense the quality of the air and change speeds to clean the air up faster. Don’t forget there are two pre-filters – one on each side. These pre-filters are washable and can be reused. The main filter is not expensive and rather than blow it clean it is better to replace the $10-$15 filter. The fan sound is smooth and on fan speed #1 it is almost silent. You can change speeds from the app or the unit’s control panel. You can also set a timer if you want to do a manual hi-speed type cleaning. The engineers got the design of this unit correct i.e. high quality components, easy to use, economical filters. Very well done. Hint, I placed the “Let’s Get Started” placard under the unit to have quick access to the color-coded air states. I do recommend this product especially if you have pets. You may need a couple for your home depending on layout and room sizes. I love this thing.

I’ve been trying lots of air purifiers lately and while none check all the boxes I’d want, this one comes the closest. It provides the right mix of smarts and air purifier tech that has made this my go to purifier. The build: The build quality seems nice, it’s a large plastic cylinder, it doesn’t feel cheap, but you’ll be hard pressed to get this to blend in with your furniture. The lights and air quality light panel are nice and bright and can be easily adjusted if you feel they are too bright. All of the buttons are touch sensitive and easy to press. I haven’t had any issues with false presses or missed presses. I didn’t notice any creaks or cracks and overall was pretty impressed with the build quality. Air Purification: This purifier uses pretty solid and industry standard specs. It has a two stage filter, the first being a mesh screen and the second a Filtrete hepa filter. I really like that they used a standard hepa filter as opposed to a proprietary filter. Since it’s hepa, you know it meets all of the standards you’d want. The filter is also reasonably priced which is a good thing given you’ll have to replace these on a periodic basis. The only thing here I wish they had included was a carbon filter like those on some of the more expensive air purifiers. The carbon filters really help to trap odors. The tech: This is where The Filtrete really outshines every other purifier I’ve used. The filter has its own proprietary app that connects via WiFi and lets you monitor your air quality in the house and in your area. It lets you adjust all of your settings directly from your phone. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. It also integrates directly with google assistant and google home. Both work great and this is the first filter I’ve seen that can be added directly to your google home smart home to be used in routines and all the other google home features. Controlling with voice is easy and works great. Overall very impressed with this unit and will be using it for a long time.

My kids and I have bad seasonal allergies and we live in an area surrounded by a lot of agriculture, so we are constantly fighting allergies. While a part of life outside, this Filtrete Smart Air Purifier has made a noticeable difference in the short time that we've had it. I can feel the difference and I can see the difference, as the dust is not collecting as quickly. The setup was easy. I plugged it in and it turned on, then I downloaded the app. If you don't have a Filtrete account, you need to create one. After signing in you follow the instructions and add the machine. From there, I connected to Wi-Fi and I set the fan to auto. It's on the lowest fan speed most of the time, but it performs as it should and as it senses more particulates in the air it increases it speed to clear the air quicker. On the display, it has the power and timer and other things that you'd expect, but I like that it shows the filter life percentage left and the air quality displayed as a number. It's on 0 when all is well and those times that it kicks up the fan to clear the air, I can see the number and check what the numbers mean in the app. I've very happy with this Filtrete Smart Air Purifier and would recommend it to anyone.

he Filtrete Smart Air Purifier is good for cleaning the air in large rooms. The setup was fairly straightforward after downloading the app. It would have been nice if it included a quick start guide with photos showing users how to properly prepare the filter for installation and QR links for installing the app. When setting up the air filter it requires you to type in a numerical code that’s located near inside the air filter door. There’s a QR code, but unfortunately the QR code does not automatically add the numbers during setup and pairing. You have to type the numbers in manually. Once the app is setup the layout is clean and easy to use. I’m able to change the fan speed, turn the unit on and off, and check the air quality. I did not see an option to turn the unit on and off using a schedule or timer. However, I was able to do this using the Alexa skill since it syncs up easily to Alexa using the Filtrete skill. The unit has a sleek profile for a unit that covers 310 sq.ft. The fan is louder than other air filters I own. Overall it’s a good unit that is doing a good job of keeping the air clean and cutting down on pet odors in my home.

I like this air purifier and the fact that there is app that is uses is also good. After receiving it I opened it up and moved it to my bedroom thinking it would be good there. however the position it was in there was not good for it as every time my heater turned on it told me I had bad air quality. I also had an issue where I got the same notice after i opened my air fryer once after cooking some food. I had a smaller unit in my front room and now I have swapped them. I feel that the air inside my Apt is better now than it was before. This unit is a little more noisy than my other unit but mostly do not hear it. It was easy to setup with my wifi and the app that keeps track of the filter and how well it is working or needs replacement I see a lot less dust now around my house which is a good thing going forward.

Face it, cheap cat litter is dusty! This fine dust travels and gets on everything. And since I live on a semi busy street we get a lot of pollutions from traffic, I got this air cleaner, took 5 minutes to get it set up and wow...what a difference it makes! In the two nights I have had it in the hall outside my room, I can feel the difference when I wake up. No more coughing and sneezing! And it is soooo quiet! The unit itself is perfect as the control panel has a dimmable light so it can be a nightlight in the hall if I want or complete dark if we use it in a bedroom. Instructions and operation is super easy- perfect for those not tech savvy. My only beef is that it is acting like a dehumidifier. Perfect in a humid climate, not needed in CO.

The Filtrete - 310 Sq. Ft. Smart Air Purifier for Large Room is as advertised. Operation is pretty straightforward and practically there is no need to read the manual. Once you have removed the plastic cover of filter itself and plug it in, you’re ready to go! On top of the air purifier is a touch control panel with the power button on the left then fan controls, a timer, a filter life gauge and a light control button. On the bottom of these controls is an indoor air monitor. Just set the fan to auto and that’s it! In order to use the smart features of the purifier, just download the app and scan the QR at the inside of the unit at the bottom of the filter. The app has all the feature found in the control panel plus it can also monitor the air outside your home. There is nothing much more to say about this filter except for that it is a rock solid performer!

Love this air purifier. It’s smart and powerful. I love the four fan settings (the last setting is very powerful so if you have a big room then great). I have it set up in my bedroom and you can smell the difference in the air. I also like the app. Very simple. You can control it directly from the app. It also gives alerts to let you know if your air is clean or not. The only confusing thing is that I get the alerts even when the air purifier isn’t on so not sure how that happens. The only downfall may be the size. It’s slim but tall so it may be a challenge for some to find placement. You will enjoy this if you purchase.

I have used this air purifier for a little more than a week now. It is great. The only negative is it is quite loud at higher speeds. It was super easy to set up and download the app. Set to auto and it senses the air quality and adjusts accordingly. Was using the grill in the back yard and opened the patio door. Smoke got into the house setting off the smoke alarms. The air purifier instantly sense the change in air quality and ramped up to high gear and helped draw out the smoke. The app also lets you know the air quality outside as well wherever you are. My allergies and AC filters are so glad for this great device.

This went into my adult daughter's room (studio really) as, while everyone in the house has allergies, hers are the worst. She had no problems downloading the app and said it was quite easy to connect it to wifi and her phone. She loves that there is an auto feature that regulates things depending on the air quality in the room. Given that we have forced air in our home and have grandchildren who visit that would give Pigpen a run for his money as to who has more dust trailing them, this is a huge benefit. So far, the fan is fairly quiet at all the settings she's tried and are not disruptive. She's been able to sleep now without waking up all stuffed up and finding it hard to breathe. She noticed a real difference in the amount of dust and dander that are no longer showing up in her room. The filter is quite easy to change but I wonder if there is a filter that also includes carbon so that odors can be eliminated along with the air particles. That would be a treat. So far, we haven't found one con as this air purifier does everything advertised.

The Filtrete Air Purifier for large rooms is excellent at it's ability to clean the air in our room. The controls are simple and operation is excellent. Upon the unboxing we located the system, filter power and several guides for set-up and use. We used the quick set-up guide to get everything started. We also downloaded the supporting app to be able to control the unit. Set-up was simple and the app is well laid out and easy to use. We automated the rum time and can view temperature, air quality, filter life and amount of pollutants in the air. As far as air cleaning, it gets the job done. Our unit is adjacent to our kitchen so it ramps up any time we cook, as it detects air quality. It was equally impressive when my wife decided to spray air freshener and the Filtrete detected it and ramped up the fan speed again. There are much larger versions on the market that might or might not produce the same results; but as an owner of several air cleaners (we have bad allergies) I can tell you this Filtrete Smart Air Purifier exceeds the ability to clean the air with the best of them, with a really good price. Highly recommended!

First off setup was a breeze! We had this unit out of the box, in the corner of our bedroom, and running in minutes! Our daughter has terrible allergies and this has made a huge difference! Even I can breath easier with this running during our terrible Spring seasons! Definitely a great buy!

The Filtrete - 310 Sq. Ft. Smart Air Purifier is a great air purifier. Setup is very simple and straightforward which is a huge plus in my book. All you really have to do is take the plastic off of the filter, download the app, and follow the instructions on the app. Once everything is setup, there is a lot of information that can be accessed from the app but I pretty much just turned on the “auto” feature which makes things so easy by allowing the device to regulate itself. When it needs to, the fan speed increases without me having to do anything! Another great thing I like about this air purifier is how you can check the remaining lifespan of the filter right from the app. Instead of having to worry about keeping track of how long it has been since you last replaced the filter, you can simply wait until the unit tells you it is time to replace the filter. Overall, I really like how easy it is to use the Filtrete - 310 Sq. Ft. Smart Air Purifier and I highly recommend it!

Living in the South this time of year wrecks havoc on air quality due to pollen and controlled burns as well as dust and other allergens so I’m always open to anything to try and help my household. Since so many have already gone through all of the technical details I won’t waste much time on repeating any of that and will just discuss my experience using this one. Setup was pretty simple. All I had to do was remove the filter just to take the plastic off of it, reinstall it, and follow the setup steps on the app. At full blast the noise level is pretty high but when I turned it to the auto setting and it dropped down to the lowest fan output it had the expected sound of a regular fan on low. Noticeable but not distracting. So far my indoor air quality has remained at Good so the glow has stayed on green. I do like that you can easily check the quality by looking at the app, looking at the panel on the device or just looking at the glow and seeing based on the color. I do wish it allowed for a true schedule to be set but the timer is good and the ability to turn it on or off via your phone or voice commands is a plus. Overall I think this is a great option with just enough bells and whistles to fit most people’s needs. Although there are options out there that give you a bit more flexibility this is sufficient and great for its price point.

The Filtrete air purifier has been working great for us so far. It is easy to set up and the app works great. The onboard display is great also. It will tell you the quality of air in the room and when set to auto will adjust fan speed as needed. The air quality seems very clean. I have this purifier in my office and it always smells like clean air. With 2 cats and dogs it is important for us to have clean air in our home. The app is really cool also. You get air quality info right on your device and the best part is you have total control over the purifier from within the app! If you’re looking for an air purifier system I highly recommend a Filtrete air purifier.
