    While I have not gotten the test strips you can buy to check the chemicals etc in your water, I have not really been able to tell much of a difference after installing this filter device two weeks ago. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy. Perhaps we have good city water in our community and we would see a bigger difference if we were in the county or on a well. So far not overly impressed with this Filtrete filter system.

    This is my first time messing with any plumbing, but the kit has everything that you need. One of the hardest parts was just finding the main water shut-off valve in my new apartment. I haven't tested the water for changes, but it does taste a bit bitter, though I thought it tasted pretty good before. Hopefully now I can get rid of the filter pitcher that's been taking space in my refrigerator for years!

    I have no complaints. It comes with the needed pieces to install on a kitchen sink. Definitely helps clean my water so I can drink it now.
