A remake of a classic but I wish they had the war of the lions content but this is still fantastic after all these years

If you’re a fan of deep strategy RPGs, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is a near-perfect pick. The story is rich, the characters have real weight, the job system is still one of the genre’s best, and the PS5 version brings in modern quality-of-life tweaks that make it accessible for newcomers.

BUY THIS GAME! One of the best entries in the Final Fantasy series, and it's so great to have it available again on modern hardware. I'm grateful that Square-Enix saw fit to include two versions, preserving the incredible original artwork, though the option to play with the original script would have been nice. Otherwise, I'm just happy to be back in Ivalice.

It's Final Fantasy Tactics. This version contains an added version of the original game with some updated animations and voice overs. If you liked the original, you'll enjoy this. If you really enjoyed the original, it's on this disk too, without the added stuff in The Ivalice Chronicles.

A remake done well, the story is fast paced and charming and has proven even old TBS games done well will withstand the test of time. For those seeking a greater challenge you will find it in Tactician mode. And there are even a few suprises for veterans as well.

Good quality of life changes make an already great game even better. If you loved the original, there's no reason you won't fall in love all over again.

Loved the original tactics and this is faithful to the original. Only complaint is that there’s no options to view the newly added scenes into gameplay! You have to go back and watch them.
