Re: Delievery, packaging, ease of pre-ordering Deluxe through Best Buy 10/10. Re: the actual game play. I realize OG FF7 was mini game heavy, however, the way that it was designed for Rebirth is starting to wear very thin. The character development continues from Remake and is phenomenal; you get to see more of the groups dynamic unfold. The story itself, when it happens, is also amazing. The music is also upgraded from Remake and you have the fun date to look forward to with your chosen person. All that being said...unfortunately I feel that the devs might have dropped the ball with how they developed the mini games. Mini games are supposed to be fun, however, some of them are incredibly frustrating. Some leave little room for error. And despite thinking that some of them could be optional, some of the items needed to progress in the main story game are stuck behind some of the frustrating mini games. I also feel that I have gotten through little of the actual main story/game because of the amount of quests and mini games. Overall, I still recommend the game and still think that they did OG FF7 justice, however, some of the mini games and side quests could have been omitted. But, if mini games and quests are your thing, you’ll definitely find yourself thoroughly enjoying the game.

It took me about 47 hours to beat the main quest line and that's with only a decent amount of side content done. I'm now at 61 hours and still have much more to do, including the hard mode play though. The story was fantastic, combat is amazing, and the open world is gorgeous. This is a stand out game for the generation. Only complaint is some of the mini games ahaha.

I loved FFVII Remake wiith a passion and while I have yet to complete Rebirth, I may love this one more. Not only has the combat improved but now there is more opportunities to interact with the characters and the world. So far, all the interactions and your actions throughout the game feel significant, making the world of the game fel alive. The deluxe edition is beautiful and box is thicker that the one for Remake due to the artbook having a few more pages and the soundtrack having a case.

Don’t read the bogus 1 star reviews. This Deluxe edition is a steal for only $30 more than the base game. It comes with a limited edition steelbook, art book, and mini soundtrack. What else could a Final Fantasy fan ask for?

Final fantasy is back! I have barely scratched the surface of this game but everything is amazing so far. This is what made me fall in love with the franchise all those years ago and what has been missing from the last few entries. The magic is back and has all the elements that made it a great series and channeled them for the modern era. The fun factor. The emotional storytelling. The mini games. The vibrant scenery and environments. The towns to explore. The music. The gorgeous visuals. Everything about this game is top tier and the love that I thought I lost for a franchise I have been playing since I was a kid is back. I really hope future FF games continue to incorporate these elements that made Rebirth such a success.

This game feels like a dream come true, like a game that shouldn't even exist. That's how amazing it is, it's so huge and there's a lot to do, but everything is done exceptionally well. The characters, combat, music, minigames, everything, all of it is top notch. This game has single handedly restored my faith in the video game industry and I can't wait for part 3.

Awesome best ff7 game. Best of all final fantasy series and what a collectors needs to have. Fellow fans should not miss this series as its the lastest on final fantasy 7. Its very nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood and remade into a whole different new animation.

Loved the game, and the contents of the Deluxe Edition were nice as well. The Mini-Soundtrack actual comes in a jewel case and not a slip cover like the last game. The steelbook is nice. The artbook is hardcover and features a lot of beautiful artwork of the characters, regions, and weapons. For $100 it deosnt come with a LOT of extra stuff, but what it does come with is high quality.

Final Fantasy 8 Rebirth is an absolutely amazing follow up to Remake and continues the journey of Cloud and Co. This game is everything my 12 year old mind saw when I played the original game. Love Final Fantasy 7 and this has exceeded my expectations. Best Buy came through with both my wife and I’s steelbooks. Awesome!

I have been a Final Fantasy fan since the original NES when Final Fantasy 7 came out for the original PlayStation I loved that game, so far this is one of the best remakes I have ever played. The graphics are beautiful. The story is slightly changed from the original but still great. I love it so far.

Couldn't wait to preorder this game as soon as it was annoucned. I love Final Fantasy and played Remake when it came out in March 2020. I'm still playing this game right now. I have 82 hours into it and am on Chapter 13. So much to explore and do outside of the main story.

I Got All my pre order bonus even though my best buy exclusive steelbook came two days later everything came perfect no damage im also enjoying the game.

Do to the form of Payment I used Best Buy had refunded my money and couldn’t withdraw it. I kept up with news about some Best Buys refunding preorders in other states and was notified a few days ahead Game News on YouTube, since they don’t withdraw payment until close to release. My items except the box came and The Steel Case came a day later. I really want a replacement Deluxe Edition box that isn’t damage if thats even possible. The rest is fine. I wish my Crisis Core Reunion transaction would have gone through and i never got my Final Fantasy Remake Best Buy Case

If you were a fan of FFVII Remake, you will love this. It’s everything you hoping for! Good visuals, amazing music, great gameplay.

Hmm.. do i rate based on the game itself, or based on what happened with preorders like many are over here? Let’s go with the game review first. 30 hours in, amazing! I was in the boat where the original FFVII was overrated because of nostalgia and what it was at the time.. a new generation. That is not the case here. Rebirth is worth the hype. I’m going slowly, completing everything as possible before moving on in the story. Don’t want to into too much detail without spoiling the game. But the battle system is pretty much like Remake (and the Yuffie DLC) with added features. Now as for the pre-order stuff. Dirty. The extra steelbook was still advertised on the page up until release. I don’t know what happened there, but when they realized there were no more, they should’ve taken down the picture at least. I mean, that’s why many of us pre-ordered from Best Buy, right? So I’ll give the game 5 stars, and the preorder dilemma a 1. Because that needs to be addressed. That and also other people getting their pre-orders cancelled. My package also came with a shipping protection air plastic that had no air in it. Thankfully my deluxe edition wasn’t damaged like some of the people I’ve seen.

This is an excellent edition because it has everything I like. Beautiful Steelbook, physical soundtrack, art book and game.

Amazing follow up to the Remake. Gameplay is far better than the original and the story is awesome.

Received the deluxe version and the pre-order steelbook without any issues! I did preorder this early on when it was first listed (before the steelbook cancellation debaucle) so maybe that’s why I got both without any problem. Came in separate boxes and packaged nicely so no issues with dented items either. I’ve had bad experiences with poor packaging from best buy in the past (my fire emblem collectors edition arrived with a punctured hole in the front) but glad things went smoothly this time around. Excited to play this for the first time ever

Best game on ps5. Amazing open world experience and would recommend to anyone.

Immaculate edition for an amazing game. 10/10 can't wait for the final one.
